Good evening!
In another major address this week, President Obama will outline further economic plans: to cut the federal deficit in half over the course of his first term, to raise taxes on "the wealthiest" Americans, winding down the war in Iraq, and it's reported, raising business taxes.
The Republicans in Congress will have their work cut out for them to oppose tax increases in a time of business downturn, but it needs to be done, and they need our help to oppose the increases.
Continue to make calls, emails, talk to everyday folks you know.

Well, I do tend to get a bit preachy but it is so magnificent when you do consider the work of His hands. I can't help but go on and on and on about it.
A friend once put his wet hand down on the beach and sand, of course, clung to it. Then, he began counting the grains. It is amazing how many tens of thousands of grains of sand were just on the surface of his hand. And yet, His thoughts toward each one of His people are more numerous than the sand upon the seashore.
Psa 139:17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! Psa 139:18 If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand. When I awake, I am still with You.

Thought y'all might enjoy a brief Ev update:
Hey, how's it going- things are getting pretty busy here. The first couple of days we pretty much listened to powerpoint lectures & got stuck with needles & prodded by the doctors, but now we're finally getting into the meat of the mobilization.
My week has been perfectly ghastly and i am exhausted and so I am going to sign off and go collapse somewhere.
Good night everyone.

I’m sorry your week has been so bad. Sometimes things are like that. Prayers that you get the rest you need and that the immediate future goes a whole lot smoother.

Jem, I did an Ask.com search with Norm Coleman and Ben Ginsburg and it lists him as his lead attorney, so maybe he has more than one.

Johnny, I am so happy for you. I really, really pray this eases some of the challenges you have been facing.

I won’t even try to convince you - I believe it.
BTW, I can’t name names, but any on this thread that are so inclined, please lift up JR to the Lord in prayer for safety and return to his parents. He is missing. He is a lovely 13-ish year old boy.

challenges you have been facing. And to be fair, it would help the squirrel population around here if I could buy some beef occasionally. ;)
