I agree. If it was all about singing, Mandisa and Melinda Dolittle would have been the winners on previous seasons.
They each had incredible voices. It’s all about who you want your teenage girls (or boys) “idolizing.” So far, that’s not a guy who goes around tonguing other guys.

I am glad Kris won for that reason. HOWEVER, I just watched Adam with Kiss. The man is an entertainer and is at home on the stage. He should do well if he hooks up fronting the right band. Some of the most successful rock bands have members you wouldn’t want your teenage girls to idolize.

I’ve been on lots of cruises, and there’s always a guy who sings like Adam headlining the show.

VERY glad Kris won - however, he is his own worst enemy. While he is doing that terrible finale, he calls all of the other contestants down to that small stage behind the judges.

Damn it, Kris! STAY IN THE SPOTLIGHT BY YOURSELF! All of the production value of the fireworks and confetti were lost because you're squeezed into a 3 foot deep stage with twelve other people!
