You don’t see Prost out there after his fellow Frenchman Alesi has eated shat, laying there on the tarmac with his legs all twisted up after he tore his car into little pieces.
I’d pay a million bux to watch Senna and Prost in a cage match, my money is on the Brazilian. He’d pull the frog’s arms off and stuff them up his big Gallic nostrils.
But I’m not bitter ;)

OK, I’m a dumbass, the crashed racer I refer to was Martin Donnely, not Alesi.
My bad.

I saw it in the theater last year. Excellent movie on the big screen, even if some of the film quality is a bit “grainy.” And I had the same impression of Prost.

i wonder what it will do in a hard crosswind? We'll give it a round of wedge and two turns up on the trackbar. ;- )

Actually I just saw the thread come alive and wanted to stop by and bump one of FR’s most esoteric outposts.
Enjoy the season!
To: Lockbox
that too, but i was thinking more about wing loading while moving in a straight line when the wind cuts across the nose at say a 45degree angle, will it cause the wing to think the cart is turning and load accordingly???

Looking at the new rules, I see they have learned about the “wave around”.
“Before the safety car returns to the pits all lapped cars will be allowed to unlap themselves and then join the back of the pack, ensuring a clean re-start without slower cars impeding those racing for the leading positions.”

The speed of the car, the wind angle and speed factor into the effect. On a W-Duct the transition is 1 degree. I think the high speed of the car would over come all but very high speed winds.
But this web site has the calculation

i understand apparent wind, i guess i just thought with a 1deg transition a cross wind would make more of a difference

Red Bull against FIA intervention in cost control talks
Horner said he had not seen the letter or been asked to sign it but added that he believed the RRA had "fundamental flaws within it" - specifically that it is too easy for teams that are subsidiaries of car manufacturers, such as Ferrari, Mercedes and McLaren, to hide work actually being done for F1 within the road-car department.
Several of the smaller teams in F1 are known to be struggling to make ends meet, and Horner believes allowing them to buy year-old cars from the leading teams would help them survive.
This has long met resistance from other teams, who believe F1 teams should make their own cars, currently a requirement.
F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone has recently been pushing the idea of allowing so-called 'customer cars'.
Horner said: "[The customer car] eradicates your R&D costs and you effectively would acquire a rolling chassis or the basis of a chassis, which would be an awful lot more competitive than where some of those teams are."
