As was the case with Obama’s US Attorney General Eric Holder reversing the conviction for overt voter intimidation by New Black Panthers—who supported Barack Obama in his presidential run—the logical question is “Will Obama’s Department of Justice block any and all investigations of ACORN?”

Both ACORN and the New Black Panthers worked almost tirelessly to “elect” Obama—by any means necessary

The Democrat-run Congress has ordered (by Obama fiat perhaps?) that NO federal investigation of ACORN will be allowed to proceed. This is, by some very viable accounts, due to the fact that Dictator-in-Chief Obama has a long and lucrative relationship with the group that is now being proved to be a wide-reaching criminal enterprise.

Will an investigation be allowed this time?

No, they will start an investigation. That investigation will be used to fend off any state or local investigations and will drag on eternally with no prosecutions.
Look what is happening in Chicago with the whole Rezko scandal. He is on ice..no sentence..and no word of what he is spilling.

I think you have it right. The goal will be to obfuscate and delay.

The attention span of most people isn’t really that long anyway.

And Obamah’s DOJ dropped the case of Kevin Johnson as well, even after the ex-NBA star admitting guilt and paid fines for misusing taxpayer grant money.

Rep. Jerrold Nadler, New York Democrat and chairman of the Judiciary subcommittee on the Constitution, civil rights and civil liberties that hosted Thursday’s hearing, suggested there was not enough “credible evidence” to warrant a hearing focused exclusively on ACORN.

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/apr/01/conyers-weighing-probe-of-acorn/

Rep. Jerrold Nadler, New York Democrat and chairman of the Judiciary subcommittee with the jurisdiction to conduct the hearing, said he does not think Congress is the place to hear criminal charges.

“It’s not our business to say ACORN is terrible or ACORN is wonderful. That’s not a congressional job,” Mr. Nadler said. “The evidence - I’ve listened to it - I think most of it is nonsense. If it’s true, it’s a law enforcement matter.”

However, he said he would bow to Mr. Conyers’ request for a hearing. Mr. Conyers said he hasn’t “pushed him yet.”

Mr. Conyers, Michigan Democrat, earlier bucked his party leaders by calling for hearings on accusations the Association of Community Organization for Reform Now (ACORN) has committed crimes ranging from voter fraud to a mob-style “protection” racket.

“The powers that be decided against it,” Mr. Conyers told The Washington Times.

Holder is moron. He should step down or be thrown off the position he holds so we can get someone who is blind to race and wants to uphold the constitution like the oath says.
As far as I’m concerned, he is in violation of his oath and needs to be shown the door.

Obama has said that his days spent community organizing were the 'best education' he ever had."

So Obama's "best education" was rabble rousing with a criminal organization.

I think it was the ONLY education that matters given his recent behavior. His college "education" was an probably affirmative action rubber stamp.

WHY were the pleas from the awake citizenry that ACORN was an organized criminal organization and that Obama's "executive experience" as a "community organizer" meant nothing other than Obama was a trouble making creep ignored by the "middle voters"?

Remember during the campaign - the Hollywood actors comparing him to Jesus who was also a community organizer.

Fatty sez, ““It’s not our business to say ACORN is terrible or ACORN is wonderful. “

Fine. Then its not Congress’ business to give it money, either.
