Doing “Spring Cleaning” a few months late but the weather finally is nice here so I can air the house out a bit.

So...Not Valerie’s boss had the H1N1 virus last week when Not Valerie was meeting with her. Now NV has all the symptoms and is off to find out if that’s what she has. Jr. was sick all last week, but if that’s what he had he’s past the stage of getting the anti-viral stuff (and he exposed 150+ kids on youth retreat over the weekend).

In other news, I’m fighting ~something~ but I’m hoping to convince myself that the gastric distress experienced last night was related to the Mexican food and not a virus of any kind.

Clare called this morning, having had a night of gastric and intestinal distress. I told her to have some friends get her some Gatorade for the electrolytes, and Activia Yogurt to get the good bacteria back in her system. She already has some saltines and Tension Tamer tea. She'd called yesterday saying she wasn't feeling very good, but wondered if it might be just stress about a big assignment coming up. After last night, she decided that it was a bit more than stress. ;o)

I told her to keep an eye out for muscle aches, fatigue, and a fever, and if any of those appeared, get to the clinic, ASAP!
