Kittehs are stir crazy but they like the car being in the garage....it’s covered in pawprints.
Gypsy is getting cabin fever, she wants a walk but it’s just not going to happen with the streets and sidewalks in their present condition.
Actually what they usually do is they call and the old lady answers and they say “Grandma?” and she’ll say something like “Junior! Is that you?” and then they go from there. It’s the same as psychics doing cold-reading to make you think they’re talking to your dead mom.
Scumbags all of them.
It unthawed in the garage overnight and ran as well as a 5HP engine can that was never rebuilt, and probably can't be now, due to federal regulations.
Heh, that reminds us of our neighbor’s lawn mower. He had just moved in and bought a old mower at a garage sale for a few bucks. It popped, backfired, smoked but it ran after a fashion, and ran that way for the 12 years he lived there and he took it with him to his new home.
Yep, I had to close my office for a second day. We had 4 blackouts by noon.
A number of plants offline per scheduled maint. To big deal, wind turbine will fill in right? Then another large plant went down with frozen piping. Oh, the turbines don’t work when there is severe cold, like the folks in Minnasooooota have learned the hard way.
Guess who tempted fate? And the snow plow operators were not amused with our wingwalls. We got it all put back in order :)

LOL! He's too big to get around in the driveway! Nah, SirKit has a nice Ariens snow-thrower we bought back in 2001, after he had his 'back adventure'. He said that 2001 was the last winter he'd be moving large amounts of snow with a shovel!
The thrower sure has earned its keep THIS winter! Up until last week, he'd been clearing the sidewalks from our driveway to those of the neighbors on either side, since neither of them have snow-throwers. But after the last 16" fell, he decided to fuhgeddaboudit! There is a city ordinance requiring homeowners to keep the sidewalks clear, for kids walking to and from school, or the school bus, but I don't think the city is going to give anyone a hard time, this year. There is just way too much snow!
Oh, Corin, I just read about that scam on your Mom! You’re right, folks who do that need to be horse-whipped, then put UNDER the jail!

Boston news channels are reporting about the ice falling off the dome in Arlington! They’re also talking about the trouble folks are having just flying in for the big game on Sunday!
