Most amazing thing I have seen...musically!
YouTube ^

I have seen some amazing musicians, but this kid's performance ranks. I can't remember last time I saw something musical that made my mouth hang open in astonishment, but this one did.

This guy plays Vivalid's Concerto In G Minor (for Violin, String Orchestra and Continuo, Op. 8, No. 2, RV 315, "L'estate" (Summer): III. Presto) on Accordion)

And it isn't just that he plays it...he absolutely smokes it! You have got to see this (linked to YouTube: Kid nails Vivaldi on an accordion!

Concertina has buttons.

Accordian has buttons on one side and a key board like a piano on the other side.

I would suggest getting a guest shot with, or opening for, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

LOL!

The late Gene Shepherd would often talk about an auditorium full of accordionists playing “Lady of Spain”.

I hate the accordion, but that was no ordinary accordion. Instead of a single row of 24 piano-style keys (as most "accordians" have), this thing had a couple hundred buttons that he was smoking on.

More like a pipe organ. (Don't have HS internet. Will check it out next week)

Wow, he learned through GuitarMasterPro? (and lots of practice!)

For a funny diversion, check out this comedian/musician give his opinion on Pachelbel's Canon in Pachelbel's Rant

(It's good, and really funny...:)

Wow...that guy is pretty good. That is a beautiful version of “Autumn Leaves”...

At a country fair, I saw a guy playing a hammer dulcimer, and he was darned good. He had a good group around of all ages, and he said he was going to play “Stairway to Heaven”. I thought, “Uh oh, he’s gonna jump the shark here on this...”

It was one of the most amazing and beautiful versions of it I had ever heard. The instrument seemed perfectly suited to that song, but what was most interesting was looking at the teenagers listening....I thought they might turn around and walk away, but they were spellbound. Just amazing.

OMG! The dialogue was hilarious!

“HE’S GOT A GUN!”

“I can’t, I have to finish my letter to Jodie Foster...”

I just watched it again, and it still had the same jaw-dropping impression on me.

Hard to believe it isn't a hoax...I had the same feeling when I saw THIS: Otter plays with a rock...:)

I showed the otter video to a friend last night, and he thinks it is a hoax.

Me, I can't see someone going through the massive work it would take to make a hoax...for that! But talk about the Harlem Globetrotters for otters...

That sarcastic editorializing was what MST3K was all about. My son used to watch it and became quite adept at imitating the methodology ... and of course he knew when he was imitating, thank goodness.
