Being a UF graduate, the SEC Championship game with ‘Bama has me very worried!
They beat the Ducks in their season opener, but really, BSU's schedule is not an overly difficult one. Here's the breakdown (Opponent, Score)

Going to be a great game. The way both teams have played I see a typical SEC defensive slugfest. Maybe comes down to a special teams play.
We’ve got to get past FSU first. It’s Mickey Andrews’ final regular season game, and FSU has played much better on the road this year than at home. If we struggle in the red zone like we have most of the season, it could be a nail biter.
Like all kludges this one fails to fully satisfy any one party but of course protecting the status quo or something very close to it was the objective all along. NCAA basketball teams can essentially drop out of school for the entire month of May but hypocritical presidents moan about the prospect of 1 or 2 additional football games? Ridiculous.

That’s nice of you to say but let’s put it this way. The fans in Tallahassee are VERY glad we squeaked by Saturday for a bowl bid.
NCAA Baseball teams are part-time students for the most part. Not sure about present day, but when I was playing and dinosaurs roamed the earth, we had a 60 game Fall schedule and a 60 game Spring schedule with practice EVERY day. And the CWS is played almost two months after graduation.
But how do you explain almost losing to Jacksonville State at home, then going out to Provo and kicking BYU’s butt? They are probably the best offensive team we’ve faced all year maybe with the exception of Arkansas.
I know the counter-argument is that a football team is a huge operation in terms of numbers and logistics but I take your point....if the presidents are worried about the length of the season why do they allow open dates in the middle of it?

Bama will need to polish up that kickoff and punt coverage. It's been rotten lately.

Pittsburgh is #8. Rutgers, W Virginia, and S Florida are also very strong this year (top 30). Even UConn is 4-1 outside the conference.
