Just to think offhand,
“Holiday” (’37?)
“The Wind” (Lillian Gish’s amazing performance)
“The Passion of Jeanne d’Arc”
“The ‘It’ Girl” (don’t know if that was it’s name)
“Rules of the Game”,
and many more, I’ve seldom listed favorites, there are so many. Citizen Kane was my favorite before Holiday, and who can forget The Third Man? Will stop now, too many.
