I'm repeating my picks from last week. Two of these guys are going home.

Jermaine is a lock to go, imo. He pretty much dared anyone to vote him off. "I know God." Yes. But it doesn't mean that God is your personal genie that grants all your wishes.

I am not sure I care who goes home or not.

Yeah, the only person who I want to stay is Lew. Other then that, I really don't care either.

Exactly. it's God, not Professor Dumbledore.

I know God, too, Toddy, and He told me that you should begin packing your suitcase. ;^)

Plus if God grants Jermaine's wish, that means He has to send somebody else home instead! What about that guy's wish? :-D

Todrick has a point. If the idols sing a song as-is, the judges complain they're not taking risks. If they DO take risks and change the song, the judges complain again.

Great point! Why don't they just admit who they are in the tank for and drop all the pretense?

>>I think you gave me one of those during the NFL playoffs...hehehe.<<

Save them — they could be worth something some day. Like points on “Whose line is it anyway.”

I think it will be John and Jermaine, although I like Jermaine’s oldfashioned gospel-type voice.

I get more impressed with our Pennsylvania kid (Aaron Kelly)each week. Great voice and lots of composure. He just loves to sing.

Big Mike has a Big Head—too full of himself. I don’t care for that type of personality.

Garcia was really off tonight. I don’t think he’ll make the top twelve.

Another underwhelming night from the guys that continues a season of underwhelming nights. I mean honestly, let’s look at what we have seen so far this season: Nobody, guys or gals, stands out as someone I would have even given a shot at top 3 or 4 on any other season.

There was one breakout performance tonight, and 3 decent performances; but beyond that were a series of boring blah singers who could honestly leave at any point and not be missed.

I guess I have to rank them in some order, so here is my best guesstamit:

1. Michael Lynch – This is a Man’s World – This was Big Mike’s world tonight. This was by far the best performance by any contestant yet this season. I won’t go as far as saying Mike is a front runner now, but at least for one night he was king of the hill by a mile.

2. Andrew Garcia – You Give Me Something – Andrew gets my second spot mainly because I like him, I like his voice and style, and he has wowed me in the past. But, this could just as easily be 3rd or 4th tonight. I consider 2-3-4 as interchangeable.

3. Casey James – I Don’t Wanna Be – Loved the guitar playing, but this was below Elliot and Bo’s versions if I am being honest. Good, not great. Still waiting for the Casey from Hollywood Week.

4. Lee Dewyze – Lips of an Angel – The rasp is growing on me. Was not a fan of the song, but I dig Lee’s voice and he is slowly moving himself up the ladder as a dark horse.

THE REST OF THE WORST!

5. Alex Lambert – Everybody Knows – Loser #1 but not as bad as the rest of this group. I do see some potential in Deer in the Headlights boy. Was a ton better than last week, but to be honest he could have sung Doe a Deer and been better than last week.

6. Todrick Hall – What’s Love Got to do With It – This was not bad to be honest, but it was not great either. There is something about Todrick that makes you want to like him, but at the same time there is something that makes you want to hit the shower to wash of the sleaze.

7. John Park – Gravity – Picked a dog of a song to begin with, and then performed it mediocre. He was not horrible, but Simon was dead on with his assessment, by the end of the show I had completely forgotten what John had performed.

8. Tim Urban – C’mon Get Higher – UMM yeah. Not horrible, but really this is barely above High School talent contest level. Tim is a likeable kid, and that may save him, but Simon is right again, he is out of his league in this competition.

9. Aaron Kelly – My Girl – Call the cops because this clown just murdered a Temptations classic. I really do not get any of the love anyone, judges and bloggers, is giving this loser. He is nasally, off key, screechy, whiney, and just plain out and out pathetic. To put in succinctly, he SUCKS.

10. Jermaine Sellers – What’s Goin On – What’s goin on is Jermaine Goin home! As pathetic as Aaron was, Jermaine was 100 times worse. This may just be the single worst performance in Idol history. Just flat out painful to listen to.

Should go Home – Jermaine, Jermaine, Jermaine, Jermaine and Jermaine. My personal choice after that would be Aaron, but it could be any one of the bottom 6 and I would not care. They all suck in one way or the other.

Will go home – Jermaine and John. Jermaine because he was horrid, John because he went second and was forgettable.
