She's turning to the classics tonight--Miley Cyrus' "The Climb". Warbly mess.
Randy: You want me to keep it real wid you right? It was excruciating. So pitchy. So not right for you. You had no connection to the song at all.
Ellen: Don't ever stop smiling. You have a great smile. Adorable. Unfortunately, I agree with Randy. Didn't feel like it worked out. But keep smiling.
Kara: Lot of people out there really like you. We get a sense of who you are. Really good performer. But you need about a year of strenghtening your instrument. Pitch issues that need to be worked out.
Simon: I don't want to make this any worse than it already is. It was a mess. On paper, it should have worked. There's irony about you singing a song about climbing while you're fallng.
Seacrest: (to Simon) How did that not make it any worse?
