Sharing a bed with someone could temporarily reduce your brain power - at least if you are a man - Austrian scientists suggest.
When men spend the night with a bed mate their sleep is disturbed, whether they make love or not, and this impairs their mental ability the next day.
The lack of sleep also increases a man's stress hormone levels.
According to the New Scientist study, women who share a bed fare better because they sleep more deeply.

“I dont think they make a bed big enough for two people.”
that just might be a sign you are getting old, or dead.

Well I am getting older, but I was always this way, I’ve been married for 18 years. I need absolute quiet to sleep. I don’t want to hear anyone else breathing or have a big old heavy arm come crashing down on me.

Must be because the little brain is hogging all the blood. The answer isn’t hard ... let me rephrase that ... difficult.

A ‘study’? From ‘scientists’?
This is great. I’ve been looking for a reason to banish the wife to the unheated garage. She’s hogged the covers for the last time!

This is the second story along these lines I've seen recently. Both came from England. I always thought the classic portrayal of Brits depicted a lack of genuine affection between husband and wife. And then they bring out some codger who claims that the '50's sitcoms got it right as far as bed occupancy. How the heck does he know?! The attachment parenting crowd claims that in half the world the whole family sleeps in one bed, and this guy is trying to tell us that nature meant for each of us to have our own twin bed/bed of hay.
I don't buy it nobody acts more in tune with his nature than a cat. Good cats are always happy to seek out another warm mammal (see picture earlier in thread) when going down for a good snooze.

Hmm... maybe if Rush ties the know again he will have to untie some of that brain he’s got behind his back.
I better stick with Lady Sivana, otherwise, I might find myself so smart and stress free that I’ll scare people. Heh heh heh!
