Here is video of Actor Mel Gibson today in a Good Morning America interview where he came to the defense of golfer Tiger Woods. Gibson said "they are beating the hell out of the guy," and that he really feels for him. Gibson said there is "not a person on the planet" who has not done some things they are not proud of. About Woods, Gibson said "I love the guy. . . . I want to watch him play golf. I want to see him swing a club." . . . (VIDEO)

Sounds like someone who is resentful about his own treatment and feels for somebody else who is “getting it.” I can relate to a certain extent too, but he shouldn’t count on getting his hundred mill per in endorsements back again. Braveheart is a movie. Gibson is an actor. He played the lead role in the movie. The character in the movie is not Mel Gibson the man.

I like The Lord of the Rings. I liked the part, Strider, that Viggo Mortensen played. But in real life Viggo is a POS.

Poor Daly is a tragedy. Even Tiger said that Daly may have been one of the most gifted golfers of a generation. So many mental demons. He is finally getting his life together. He just needs to cut out the diet cokes and smoking. He looks great in that red shirt. The gastric bypass helped him lose a lot of weight.

I saw a picture of Mickelson from a few days ago. He was chubby in 2008 and slimmed down in 2009. He looks even better for 2010.

Last year at major tourneys, Mickelson shot lower scores than Tiger while he took a month or so off to take care of his wife. Phil almost won the Masters and U.S. Open. He beat Tiger like a drum at the last tourney in Shanghai and won the tourney. Tiger put two shots in the water in the last 3 holes.

Really, don’t tell me there is no Santa Claus. Stop talking to me like I am a child, I was merely talking about him being not only a hunk in the movie - but still with his wife at that point in his life and appeared to have it all under control. That was 15 years ago.

Sadly, Mel Gibson has demons and as he gets older they appear to be taking their toll. I can see where he would feel a kinship to another celebrity under the microscope but both men are flawed and will have to live with the consequences of their actions. Too bad for them.
