What I want to know is what happened to the President who was on Air Force One when it was shot down, but the President survived? However, he was seriously injured and he was taken to an undisclosed location for treatment and care. NEVER HEARD ANOTHER WORD ABOUT THIS GUY. Subsequently, the guy’s vice president ends up being President, so I guess we were left to assume that the original President died. Just found it odd that no further mention was made, as far as I could tell, as I have seen every episode.

The assumption was that he died. I heard they originally had stated as much in the script, and Fox made them dial it back a bit because they didn’t want to air a Presidential assassination. So they had him incapacitated and invoked the 25th Amendment ... and then had him die between seasons so they didn’t need to mention it again.

Yes, the show finally hit its stride last Monday, but the lame blonde girl story line is apparently going to continue.
I love 24, I don’t care how bad it gets! :)

Good, up until this season I was one of the most rabid 24 fans ever. After the first 4 episodes this year I turned it off for good.

It’s getting better rating now than it got in season 1, 11.2 million viewers. Either this show is hellishly expensive to produce or Fox is getting a big head.
