I rarely start posts like this but IMO this is important. Am listening to Glen Beck radio this AM and he is making a very important point and it is this:
America doesn't like bomb throwers and hippies, this was proved in the 1960s. Now those same people are in power, and they're INTENTIONALLY trying to provoke us conservatives and tea partiers into doing the SAME thing to marginalize and discredit us, and to make themselves look like the mainstream ones and not the radicals.
As tempting as it is to pick up a gun, bomb, or brick DO NOT DO THIS, not just because it is illegal but because it plays exactly into their hands and this is what they WANT us to do.
If you can get to a radio today I really recommend you listen to this, this is an enlightening perspective.

I have been listening too. I think he has a point here. Never thought about it like that. Almost like they are daring us to do something just so they can jump on that and use it to seize more of our freedoms. I will file this away for future use.

I agree with him, although I believe this is subliminal stuff. You can look at the protests of the folks at the tea parties and see Americans at their best. Just really look at the people. They are like a family reunion in progress. They are and the LOOK LIKE America’s best...and LIBERALS HATE THAT!

The left would have rioted...and they have...for far less blatant taunts, and for far less significant reasons.
We are not the left. Most of us are reasoning, thinking, normal people and we are being systematically driven to distraction by outrage after outrage.

This should be obvious. In fact if we don't they will say we did. Keep your heads and push back against this bill at the state level. Support law suites and try to elect people who will work for repeal.

Yeah, I’m still trying to figure this one out too.
Their one Achilles heel that I can see is the money - they can’t redistribute the wealth if we all go Galt.

Glenn is just trying to cover his own arse so he doesn’t get the blame. The communist noose is tightening and this country is headed for gun play. PERIOD.

You know what? He needs to respond. Bush was quiet for 8 years and they destroyed his reputation and gave us Obama. Truth needs to be trumpeted even if it is a defense of self.

People are really frustrated and pissed - rightly so - and when they feel they have no control over their lives, they react, sometimes violently...the left does it just to get attention but truely appalled citizens do it when they feel there is no other way...
Please God don’t let it get to that point...but it’s understandable if it does...
Absolutely. I'm not advocating violence or anything, I'm just stating my belief that eventually Obama's thugs will do something that will be blamed on the Tea Party movement with the intent to discredit conservatives. By all means refrain from throwing bricks and boorish behavior. And yes, November can't come soon enough. Hopefully we get there before Obama's thugs take action.
That’s what I thought when I saw members of the black caucus and then again when Nancy took her stroll through the the TP crowds with her giant gavel. It was in your face provocation.
That is my bet, too. They have already started with Representative Lewis and Jesse Jackson claiming they were called the N word by the crowd in Washington.
These people follow the same playbook as Hitler and Stalin so we have their game plan. We need to try to stay a step ahead of them some way and Beck's advice may be good. The Catch 22 is if we protest in mass we run the risk of that being used against us and if we don't we seem to acquiesce to their plan.
