“A similar situation occurred in OS X. We’ve included the graph showing the heat output from the MacBook Pro’s sensors below. In it the CPU peaks at 101 degrees...”

That’s not the reports I’ve seen from actual Mac users who peg the CPU out at 100% for hours on end...
In addition to that, I would still not recommend that any Mac user run their computer at 100% of the CPU with Windows, because it does not have the kind of management that Mac OS X has of its own designed hardware. I would only run the Mac at 100% of CPU with the Mac OS X because I wouldn’t trust Windows to do it good enough ... :-)
Well I don’t seem to have a thermal problem on either of my quad i7’s with Windows. Like I said, I hope this is an isolated event. Nice chatting with you.
We’ll see soon enough if it’s isolated or not. I’m guessing it’s no problem.
Although I don't think I could boil water with my MacBook, it does get very warm when running Flash. Flash is very power hungry on Macs -- I'm not surprised Apple nixed it for the iPad.
It looks as if PC Advisor may have "Cooked" things up a little bit... or at least mis-interpreted things because they wanted things to not look so good.
These tests should have been conducted while streaming “C’mon baby, light my fire...”
