MayDay greetings to Amy’s Place.

Sunshine has been pouring down today resulting in 80 degree temps and the need to pop the lid on the sunscreen.

MY husband is on the phone with his cousin. They are being evacuated....a boat came by to pick them up..prayers for all of our Tennessee Freepers and family.

Hey .... I took time to smell a rose today. :)

Jr took his car into Fresno for service so we picked him up and we went to Costco.
It sure helps when he is available when we make that monthly shopping trip.

Marissa stayed with my sister and Michael.
We had planned for Michael to spend the night here, but ...
when we got there, my sister's grandson wanted to come also.

Am I crazy or what!!
Three kids ages 10, 10 and 13.
They have had a ball but I'm going to bed as soon as I get them down for the night.

We have had a very warm day ... still 72 at 8:15.

Just a quick note on my way to bed. Luckily, we haven’t had any of the storm. Memphis is on the other end of the state but I did hear Nashville is getting some storms and have some flooding. I am 5 hours from there.

I will find out more tomorrow from my nephew from Nashville as he arrived earlier this evening. The other nephew is coming from Tampa. Tomorrow will be a visiting day for all of us.

We haven’t even had a drop of rain yet. It could come during the night but so far, we’ve had no warnings about tornadoes, etc. Bless those people who are suffering around the Memphis area! See you guys soon...LOL! (((Hugs))) to everyone!

(I won't use the word the POTUS used tonight at the dinner! I was SO disgusted that the CIC of our Military and the POTUS would actually use such language at a formal dinner - KNOWING the mics were on - and with no shame.)

Morning, yorkie! I agree with your statement in RED...although my eyes had a hard time adjusting...it’s morning you know....LOL I was literally in shock at what the President said. He is raising 2 young girls, is that the way he wants them to talk! Hope it comes back to bite him!

Thanks Gail. I saw a lot of pictures from down your way on television and it looked horrible. I saw a lady walking through water up past her waist and she was holding her dog (which was quite large) in her arms, trying to get to safety!
She’s my kind of lady!! You take care and stay safe!!
