It aint the T-Rex that would bother me - its the little raptor-type critters that attack in packs... That's what belt fed 12 gauge weapons are for(or maybe 10 gauge).

Why do we need wooly mammoths? Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Its similar to our need to go back to the moon.

I have visions of mammoth herds of mammoth mammoths roaming the central U.S. in migration with the seasons, from Texas to Canada, obliterating all before them and leaving fragrant steaming piles to mark their passing.
The herds of these big boys will certainly affect the ozone layer.

I read what you posted to my daughter and she said, “Hey there, what’s that sound. All the mammoths are in the ground!” LOL

Actually, I’d want an armored Hummer with one of those remote operated weapon stations. Maybe with a .50 cal, or even a automatic grenade launcher...
A single T-Rex is sport hunting. A pack of Deinonychus is WAR!

“Oh, cmon. Wouldnt you just LOVE to hunt a T-Rex or Triceratops with a 20mm ATR or .50 BMG rifle? Talk about a boon for big game hunters...

Bring back the 20mm Lahti!
for your second problem, I’d suggest the 10ga. 3-1/2” magnum BELT-FED automatic shotgun... (which is what I tell my daughters I’ll use on any boys who show up looking for them...)

Dunno of any belt fed shotguns. Need a link.
I’m kinda old fashion, though. I like the Winchester 1887 lever action...

Wow. It’s depressing to read only smart-ass comments... Anyone have anything intelligent to say, at all?
You people make me want to drink...heavily.
No, I’m NOT a Liberal. NO, I’m Not a Democrat..
Wanna kill a mammoth? Use a Mark V.460 Weatherby...
Or, start killing members of ‘ALF’, ‘ELF’, and ‘Earth First!’
That’s where millions of dollars for these projects is coming from. They want to irradicate man and replace him in these green zones and conservation corridors with these mammoths. Oh, and sabertoothed cats. They already have a plan to start a ‘Pleistocene Park’ in the middle of the US for these animals.
But..you probably already knew this info, so I’m just going to go. Have fun...

Of course, antifreeze blood [sic] doesn't in any way explain how the mammoths were able to survive with no effin' food during the six months of winter.

They were fed by Amerinds on their mammoth farms.
They were their principal cash crop.

They have no intention of reproducing a live woolly mammoth. This was done to find out how they were able to survive in the frigid weather. Turns out their blood and organs could run cold if necessary. The Canadian version of DARPA is very interested in this discovery.
