It has crossed my mind in listening to all the talk lately that the Republicans running for election need to come out with a huge plan - a sort of Contract FOR America. Bullet points on how we can take hold and help right the ship. Much like Newt Gingrich did with the Contract with America, we need more a Contract FOR America going forward.
We need to be a party of PROBLEM/CRISIS SOLVING, instead of the party of "NO" and fingerpointing.
Personally, I want to see more Chris Christie types standing up and saying "time to cut Gov't spending in EVERY AREA" and then commit to each agency. -How about even starting (as true leaders are to do) with cutting their own bloated salaries and committees. -How about cutting retirement benefits for ALL congress members? - How about required part-time only pages and interns? - How about NO FRILLS and NO SPECIAL INTEREST GRABS?
We’ve had a contract with America since 1789. It’s called the Constitution! There would be no need for such grandstanding if Congress critters simply obeyed that plan.
If we cut the government in half we’d still have twice the government we need. IMHO!
Under the Obama Regime, they have a Contract OUT ON America!
How about getting rid of that incompetent boob Steele and let a real leader carry the fight to the Dems this November!
Yes, the one Newt had worked out real well, I think it’s best not to remind people, I’m still waiting on the one about getting the house spending and accounting under control.
How about repealing all the crap that the big A (Oh I mean O) introduced and passed.
Let’s get this country back on track ASAP.
November is the most important time in THIS COUNTRY’S HISTORY.
WHAT EVER YOU DO DON’T LET HER DOWN - SHE WAS THERE FOR YOU - NOW - BE THERE FOR HER!!!!!
Networking with various tea parties would be a very good start.
