Washington (CNN) -- Conservative talk show host Glenn Beck opened his controversial "Restoring Honor" rally Saturday by urging Americans to "turn back to God" and return the nation to the values on which it was founded.
"Something beyond imagination is happening," he told the large crowds gathered at the National Mall in Washington. "America today begins to turn back to God. For too long, this country has wandered in darkness."
So that would put total at a million plus?
True that, if you can catch the news before the spinmeisters have had at it.
Last I watched, international wee-hours-of-the-morning news was WAY different than it was after the political correctness police arrive at the studio.
Actually, “most” of the “breaking news” is reported more-or-less accurately - and note that NONE of the “press-release” news-written-from-the-White-House/Pelosi is ever accurate - ... So you can get a lot of real information, but only until the ABCNNBCBS pundits and editors get their faux fax updates from the dnc.
The dnc rewrite process (to analyze the correct sound bites in front of test audiences ?) takes about 20-26 hours. Once th3e news is rewritten to the dnc’s satisfaction, THEN all the networks and print writers repeat the dnc’s version.
But the first 2 to 8 hours of a breaking story is usually correct.
Washington Post
main photo of site taken shortly after daybreak
few young people
people concealed their anger
too close to the election to be non-political
black man counter protester attacked by (elderly?) white woman screaming "No signs!"; the man was covered with scratches from the attack
local sandwich shop employee told of violent reaction when out-of-town folks were charged sales tax, had sandwiches thrown in his face
Sharpton rally (the other half of the article) polite, reasonable, rational, all ages , intelligent, happy, non-political.. at least that could be inferred by the newspaper's employees' lack of any scrutiny of them.
. . . .
Opening a news article calling the gathering “controversial” is not objective.
The larger picture makes it easier to see “we the people”.
Read the comments section on that CNN page—not only do they not believe in God, they HATE Him and those who believe with a vengeance!! Demons really have been released upon this world, these haters are evidence of that! :*(
They say they hate him but I guarantee you this, if ANY of them are diagnosed with cancer they are gonna pray to God to save their lives. They’ll believe in God when a doctor tells them they have 2 months to live, then you watch them start screaming for God to save them. They are pitiful excuses for human waste those people are, and its an insult to even call them people, they are vermin. I pray to God every night for the safety and health of my family. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t do that.
Knock yourself out...I was almost done counting; the cat jumped up on my lap; and I had to start over.

The most amazing thing about this turnout is that the RNC didn’t have to spend millions of dollars to ship busloads of unemployed/unemployable “protesters” to the site. These are Americans who spent thousands of dollars of their own money to be there. Bravo!
:)
LOL you made me laugh and I lost my place!

I’d like to ask you folks a question about Beck. I used to be a Beck fan but something started to bug me about his little Religious round tables and about all the calling for people to turn to God. Here is the question: Beck, in his roundtables, has all Christian pastors and what not but he is always missing a Catholic, why is that? Is he anti Catholic?
You either naive or not bright enough to do simple searches to see that Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal and his Kingdom Holdings have investments in all the media/TV comapnies or other business deals.
You lost your country in 2008 dhimini and you are too stupid to realize it.
