Other rules ...
1. A clean house isn't enough. It's even more important to keep the air clean. Fresh filters over every ‘central air’ vent, and also I buy box fans and place an air filter behind each of them. Helps to shake out the dust in them once in a while.
I can't guarantee it's safe to do it. Not officially tested regarding a ‘fire hazard’. But I've been doing it for over 10 years, always careful to avoid maximum power on the fan. Normally minimal power. The air in a room gets clean in about 20 minutes, and I keep a smoke detector in my bedroom at night.
2. [Unless you have a health complication ....]
While standing raise arms above your body, preferably with dumbells, with head arched back, and inhale deeply. Then exhale deeply when lowering them. Do opposite what they say. Breath out SHARPLY and inhale more slowly to push out phlegm.
The arm motion shifts your lungs and loosens trapped phlegm.
3. Prior to the exercise I've recently been surprised to learn that mashed potatoes are great for loosening phlem. Doesn't take a lot. Just a small helping as thin as you can stand with cooked butter and some uncooked salt on top. I think cayanne pepper helps too.
4. For low calorie loosening — plain water with less than a shake of cayanne pepper stirred into it.
5. Exercize and/or laughter prior to home remedies helps you breathe more deeply. Always a plus.
6. Realize that inflamed lungs tighten and trap phlegm. That's just the way it is. Be patient with yourself, avoid people with viruses, and avoid second hand smoke as much as possible. A virus will inflame your passageways worse than a little smoke.

An employee of a jewelry store in Conroe, Texas, pulled an AK-47 from behind the counter to stop four would-be armed robbers. One of the armed robbers opened fire and multiple employees returned fire, killing the suspect.
Jeffery Turner, Jr., owner of Jeff’s Jewelry Store in Conroe, told police that four men entered his store and demanded jewelry, purses and other items. At least one of the robbers displayed a firearm, according to Montgomery County Police Reporter’s Scott Engle. One of Turner’s employees responded by pulling an AK-47 semi-automatic rifle from behind the counter. The gunman fired at the store employees and a firefight ensued. At least three employees were said to have fired weapons at the robbery suspects.

This guy was clowning around the wrong people.
One US man got a massive beating after dressing up as a creepy clown and trying to scare a group of friends in a car.
Footage of the incident shows the clown, holding some balloons, walk close to a car where a number of men were hanging out.
‘What the f**k is that, bro?’ one of the man is heard saying as he spots the clown.
‘Are you serious?’ he adds, yelling to the clown: ‘Get away!’
The clown seems undeterred.
One of the men gets out of the car with what appears to be a baseball bat and whams the clown on the side of the knee.
‘What y’all doing?’ yells the man filming, who stays in the car while the action is happening.
