It's that time of the month year again. :O)

Back when I was a lurker, I swear people were able to use the marquee HTML (so their text scrolled across the screen).

It’s possible. I just copied and pasted the source. I didn’t check any of them for validity.

We used to be able to use <marquee> and <scroll>, but that has been disabled in this current iteration. I miss it.

Yeah, yeah.

But where's the secret html code for sending secret messages that requires

you to hold the left click button down on your mouse and scroll

up in order to see the text?

Only I know how to do that. And I ain't telling no one.

Bwa ha haaaa!

Another good tip is to right-click on any image you want to embed in your post, save it to your hard drive, then upload it to http://imgur.com, where the image will be saved on their server. You can use the imgur link to post your pictures.

An advantage of this is that hot-linked photo (one on somebody eles's server) can be deleted or replaced with an embarrassing image.

It is very easy, copy this:

<img src="PUT THE URL OF THE PICTURE HERE!">

A url, as you know, is the web address of a picture. It begins with http://www. Then there is some other data depending on the location of the picture.

    In order to find that,
  1. find the picture you want.
  2. Right click it.
  3. Scroll down to "properties" at the bottom of the pop-up window.
  4. In the new window, right click and scroll to "select all".
  5. Right click again and select "copy". The web address of the picture you want is now on your clipboard.
  6. Paste it into the above directions (PUT THE URL OF THE PICTURE HERE!).
You can do it!
