Earthquake? Let’s hope not. You’re not really in earthquake country, anyway.

It’s “la gripa”: runny nose, fever, tired, and probably headaches although he can’t say so. Everyone else is stuffed up, too. Hopefully he’ll feel better tomorrow. Once he turns 2, at the end the month, we can use Vick’s Vapo-Rub to help clear his head.

"Once he turns 2, at the end the month ..."

Ye gods! Is your house in the middle of a time-warp?

How can your kids grow up so quickly?

I get confused myself.

I have to get Frank some ice cream now. He kept down meat and brocolli at supper, but spewed the potato salad. Oh, well. It’s getting to be time for him to have more Tylenol.

Yikes. I had some ice cream with a late lunch yesterday and really regretted it.

Well, okay, it was a shake with a burger and though I was totally craving things "Americana" (cafe was post-WWII theme, in my two days between San Frisky and Germany), something didn't go down well.

That’s why there appears to be multiple instances of the same child.
The observor is looking across parallel time frames.

Imagine spiderbots dancing like that.

I love my spiderbots.

Observe the beauty of the “turning, sideways, insectoidal gait” as he circles his prey.

With the sound they actually make, it’s even better.
Kinda creepy too.

Step one: apply catnip liberally and often.
Step two: call a friend.
Step three: sucker friend into reaching for now stoned kitty.
Step four: watch the fun unfold.

Heh!

I just went out to water the gardens, and Shannon came with me to tell me I was doing it all wrong. It’s so helpful to have catz to tell you that you’re an idiot.

Some things are doing well in spite of the kitteh-assistance, but I think the peas are a total failure.

Back from Walmart. I had to go late because the pharmacy doesn’t open until 0900 and I had to wait for the next bus back home...an hour after I left Walmart.

Of course, while I was walking, I got rained on. My good short umbrella is in my truck, so I had to buy another one that would fit in a pocket of my backpack without showing and tempting someone to borrow it on the No-Return Plan.

Yesterday, I spent the day in bed, reading and napping. My son called and bawled me out for not going to church, but I actually had to turn two invitations down.

My niece from St. George and her son came down to visit with her mum, so both girls were at my sister’s place. *sigh* Maybe next week.

And wonder of wonders, my daughter actually texted me to wish me a Happy Mother’s Day!!!
