I’m looking forward to it. I think William and Harry are good young men. I think their mother would be very oroud and would have loved Kate.

We need a feel-good event and distraction with all that is going on over here. I’ll be up early. :-)

I hope Kate has come up with a better looking wedding dress than that flouncy, ruffley thing that Diana wore. Or was forced to wear, perhaps.

How do I get BBC America, workerbee? Is that a DTV channel? I tried to look it up but couldn’t find it.
Even worse than Shep is having to choose between uber lib Matt LLLLauer or the ever breathless lib Diane Sawyer...or gushing Babawa with her really bad cheek implants...or Obamanot Robin Roberts!!! HELP!

Maybe I’ll skip it..or tune in to old Twilight Zone reruns.

Yeah, Diana’s dress was a little much, wasn’t it?
No, Kate will look stunning. Just wait. And the Brits are going bonkers over which tiara she will choose, if any.

BBC America is a tiered network, you have to subscribed to it. It usually costs about $6.00 exta per month. The BBC will be showing the wedding.

Not sure who is hosting up here in Canada. Tracey Ullman is going to be informing us Canucks on one network I think. So that might be worth a chuckle or two. If any of you recall Dawna Freisen she is hosting on of the nets up here.

Those crazy Brits have everything wrong way round. They drive on the wrong side of the road, they play football without using their hands, and now they’ve gone and scheduled the Goring for the night BEFORE the wedding.

Try PBS. Their coverage starts at midnight PDT. Hey, at least it’s not Matt Lauer. There’s also streaming coverage direct from the official royal wedding site.

option one on the multi-pic box near the top left of the page.

I used to know two queens.

Now I know one baron, one would-be president, his brother, and a couple of has-beens.

Re: Time in thread headline

London is currently 5 hours ahead of East coast time, EDT, according to these sites (since both countries have moved their clocks ahead one hour). The wedding is at 10 AM London time, BST, (not 11am GMT, which would be 12noon British Summer Time)...

The British royal family’s website probably has some good info...

It kind of depends on how you define “The Wedding”. The gathering and processions get underway around ten, the actual ceremony’s at 11 BDT, 6am EDT, 3am PDT.
