Barack Obama, meet Dan Rather........
It's amazing how Democrats never learn! They hire computer geeks to forge 1960s-era documents who have no clue how a manual typewriter works!
Remember the infamous "superscript" in the letter that Dan Rather used in his attempt to bring George W. Bush down? The letter was damning indeed, unfortuately, it could not have been prepared on its publication date, because superscript capability simply did not exist in that era, with the exception of an expensive IBM Selectric model, that Bush's unit never possessed.
Fast forwarding to 2011, President Obama presents what is purported to be a copy of his "original" birth certificate. The "kerning" of letters in the Obama documents is precisely analogous to the "superscript" on the Rather forgery.
Kerning is a computer process that allows certain letter combinations to "invade" each other's space for the purpose of readability and economy of space. This could not be done on a manual typewriter, because a manual typewriter cannot anticipate what the next letter might be. This process appears in Obama's "original" birth certificate, both in the PDF version and in the AP copy.
Karl Denninger's excellent post listed in the source URL above shows this persuasively. Add this to the list of multiple document layers and pixel differences in handwritten entries, not to mention the rather odd "African" race assigned to Obama Sr, and you have evidence of a forgery.
Either Hawaiian officials time-traveled to the 1980s or beyond and back to prepare this document, or our Commander in Chief has perpetrated a forgery of a official document, a felony in most states.
This is in no way an original document. The more you look, the less you really know....
The problem was KERNING ~
In before the:
“Stop it”
“Not this Sh#$ again!”
“You’re crazy!”
“Give it up”
“You’re making us look bad!!”
So you have a legit problem with this? Haven't you been one of the doubters--I can't remember? (Just asking, would be interesting to see if anyone has changed their mind.)
I know this because my dog told me. It was difficult to put 2 and 2 together, at first, since he was talking backwards and in Latin. It's a dead language, you know.....
Yes, I noticed this on his short form COLB. Not only did it use kerning, but the type font looked oddly modern for the time. But the fact that the letters were not fixed space was odd for a document that was supposed to have been created before the advent of computer typesetting.
“superscripts” weren’t a problem ~ even back in the day you just rolled the platen down a tad and there it was ~ full capability for those steady of hand and with an artistic mind.”
That’s not really superscript. Superscripted characters are smaller and usually heavier
A lot of long-term moles got the green light to go ape-obama over this issue.
The item that could not be duplicated at all with anything less than a linotype using hot lead was the KERNING as displayed in the forgeries. It went way beyond mere proportional letters ~ which we'd had since WWII if you paid for it.
I'm surprised someone found proportional letters on the BC considering the fact that up to now all the indepth development of spacing involved finding the tab stops.
I think the writer of the piece we are looking at forgot the difference between KERNING and PROPORTIONAL TYPING.
Now, what's your problem with my position on examining evidence? Do you want me to simply adopt every unprovable position that pops up just because the proponent claims to be a Birther?
Don't be silly ~ evidence is evidence and it should be relatively easy to examine each and every piece in terms of what appears on the BC and how technology for handling documents of this type worked at the time the particular "anomaly" seemed to have appeared.
I am on all "political sides" on the BC ~ but when it comes to print I spent a career studying the phenomenon. There's some expertise I can lend to the questions regarding the BC. IF some yahoo doesn't want expertise brought into this dicussion he or she can just go to h!!!
Yes, you could certainly convey the idea of superscripts, but the letters/numerals were exactly the same size as the base-print—hardly a facsimile of what appeared in published texts or later computer-produced documents. And btw, “kerning” could also have been accomplished as easily as superscripting, even on manual typewriters. Just hold the carriage. Where both kerning & s’scripting were difficult was on a Selectric. Difficult, but not impossible.
See, what happened is the long form BC was such an obvious forgery that Bin Laden, along with of course Tickerguy, had the goods on Obama. Bin Laden threatened to blow the lid off the conspiracy which is why Obama took him out. Now the only person left with the key to BC conspiracy is this Tickerguy - who’s work is post over and over and over and over again on Free Republic. It’s only a matter of time before Obama goes after him too.
Depends on what you can live with. Go back and look at the Rather forgeries to see exactly what is meant. That part of the problem wasn’t the part that proved the case anyway.
Virtually ever reason folks had come up with for why the Rather stuff were forgeries could be replicated, but many of them required equipment not likely to be found in a working AF field unit. Or, the piece involved layouts that hadn't been used since before the early 1950s.
Then there was the fact that I'd earlier been a regular member of an early political chatroom where a Democrat party activist and his wife worked with a union shop steward in a print shop to prepare such documents to look like 1970s stuff to get rid of Bush.
For me that was enough evidence. You may need more.

I'm just asking a question if you felt there was something that was a turning point for you;if you even held a different view before. That's all. It seems you answered that. There's no reason to take it like I have a "problem". I'm just being inquisitive..
This looks similar to the Hospital name on the Nordyke certificate. It can be explained by some letters being less condensed than others. This looks typical of a typewriter, actually.
Figure it out folks. They wanted everyone to see that it’s a forgery. That’s why it’s such a *bad* job.
The left wouldn’t care if it was written in crayon. And making us go postal only reinforces the hard core left’s hatred of us.
I’m guessing of course as to their reasoning. But I guarantee they wanted to be certain we’d know it’s a homemade document. No one could create this and be stupid enough to think anyone with half a brain would take it as authentic.
