I’d say a paid one. A hired “concern” troll. He’s on “our” side, really for sure - just wants to make sure “we” don’t “fall” for “extreme birtherism”.
2) Obama is a sadist. We **know** that because there is nothing on the second birth certificate that would justify in any way withholding it from Major Cook, Captain Rhodes, or LTC Lakin. Lakin is in prison, and Cook's career is ruined.
3) Nothing on the second birth certificate justifies in any way WASTING thousands of TAX dollars in court costs or the thousands of TAX PAYER dollars spent to send GOVERNMENT attorneys all over the nation! Obama did this at time when plots were being laid to blow up Times Square and an Pittsburgh marathon, explode a plane out of the sky over Detroit, and KILL our soldiers on their bases and recruitment centers. Only someone with very poor judgment would do that, or is a sadist, and this person should never be in the White House.

It’s actually a very basic campaign tactic. When you have bad news or information that your opponents are likely to bring out—e.g., calling attention to Obama’s listed father having been a British citizen, Obama’s not having legally changed his name back, etc.—campaign operatives will try to plant a false story to lure the attention and outrage of their candidate’s opponents. Once caught in such a trap and portrayed are wrong or paranoid, those opponents would have a much harder time getting traction with the real story the candidate wanted to kill.
I actually believe that in this case that is why the Karl Rove types have been against ‘birtherism’ all along. They’ve suspected a feint meant to discredit Obama’s opponents while distracting from and neutralizing the real qualification issue. (Combined with Obama’s race and McCain’s complicated birth, that real issue would have been difficult enough to raise—if they had done so in a timely manner.)
Anyway, putting out a little more conspiracy-theory honey could well be the MO of Barry’s handlers even now.
I'm speaking of the 1970s period, not the 1960s when it came to more prosaic uses such as Summer Camp for Reserve military units.
