During the Clinton era, this site was a major thorn in the Clinton's butt. We were taking out full page ads during the early days of impeachment. We did stuff to combat what we were seeing. In hindsight the Clinton's weren't that bad, in comparison.
Should we be doing more?
I heard that too. What was that all about? Is Hannity too lazy to peruse the site? There is a lot here, and it takes effort to search it out. Just ignore what you don't like, and don't engage in the vitriol.
Regarding your other comments, I agree whole-heartedly. This is a great site with great posters, for the most part. Thank you Jim & John Robinson. I've been here since before 1998, although that is not what my "date" says. I think it got re-jiggered during one of the upgrades.

That's a good thing, IMHO, it actually makes it easier to see which threads are happening, and which ones to ignore, I prefer this format over the other forum formats.
Many Freepers gone from the those days of weekend protests outside the White House, and the very successful 31 October 1998 DC Rally. Freepers of that era at that rally: Matt Drudge, Lucciane Goldberg, Alan Keyes, Jim Robinson, many others — a legendary assembly of legendary Freepers.
IMHO people are somewhat timid recently.
I think there was shock that Obama could actually win, and what is happening now is a lack of confidence on how to beat the left.
The way to beat the left is to be more in-their-face and a bit less dignified. More Alinsky.

In time History books will record that DC Rally and FR with fondness and give it a proper weighing.
Just because a website posts a list does not mean they have any idea about the subject. I noticed that the RNC is one of those on the list of so-called “conservative” websites. There is not a thing conservative about the RNC.

I gave my opinion that gun show operators, (not the government), should not allow private sales at their gun shows for various reasons. You would have thought that I was a communist gun-grabber!!!
