Good Morning to all. Closing Arguments are today.
I apologize in advance if you were either left off today's ping list or included in error. I am not at home and forgot to forward my pinglist to my friend's house, so I've had to check some older threads and reconstruct as many names as possible. If I missed you I'm sorry.
I probably won't be able to post much on this thread, but after I am home I will keep my ear to the television/radio for the jury decision, and will ping again when I hear so we can have a discussion thread.

Other than this Wendy person, has there been anyone else who showed any inclination toward a "child porn" line of thought?
How do you know the money went to Casey? Maybe she had a pimp. Problem with people like this is the money they may get their hands on is never enough, they always need more. Casey most likely was defrauding others who never figured out she scammed them.
Never will know how all these piece fit together... maybe they need to unseal the photos they wouldn’t show.
So you really believe if the prosecution had photos of that child in porn they wouldn’t have entered that into this case? Seriously? Wendy made up this whole idea just as Baez made up the idea that George disposed of the body.

I have no idea... the photos are not in evidence. Really... not going to argue this with you or anyone. The investigation and presentation of evidence in this crime was not ideal. The defense was dismal. The result will be she is found guilty of something... though no one is quite sure of the truth other than that she had something to do with her daughter’s demise. But then again such is the foibles of a circumstantial case.
My mind doen’t want to go there..just does not want to think of it..but not because I don’t think Casey is capable of it.
I don’t blame you. The possibilities of what this child may have truly been enduring because of her idiot lying slut of a mom are truly devastating.

Kronk is a very strange man, I truly hope the police turned him upside down and inside out to make sure he wasn’t up to something. I am convinced Casey killed Caylee- but Konk is just off kilter somehow...
I have followed many murders over the years and there is a Konk involved all of them it seems. Some odd person that does things no one can really explain- but seems to not really be guilty. Lots of defense attorneys play that up too, try to make that person out to be the real murderer. I notice in every one of these there are a lot of things that can never be explained- odd people with odd reactions and a lot of coincidences. I think many jurors/interested people get caught up in wanting everything to be explained and everyone to play their parts of good or bad like in the movies.
Every day..Helps keep me sane! He also comments on the live stream on that site during breaks. I use their audio and watch on TV..so I can catch his commentary.
Of course it’s almost over now..
Thanks...and though this protion is almost over...it’s won’t be over and done for a long while once they appeal whatever decision is reached. No doubt Casey will continue her stay at the “Ritz”...and be cared for one way or another. She has not known independant living so I suspect she’ll make a prison life for herself without too much adjustment. Most are like boarding schools it seems.
I wonder if they’ll have her go to a different prison?
I don’t know..The appeals process drags on for years.
May justice be done. I imagine she will be busy with fan mail...and charming the guards.
No doubt...suspect she's been doing just that already. Come to think of it she even found her attorney from another inmate, so she's certainly connected where she is.....I just really wish the conviction would stand and no appeals, but of course that's not going to happen.

LOL, just thinking how it's been said this Holiday is one where we can really make the liberals mad. I said basically that to a Liberal at work! LoL...she wasn't happy...mission accomplished!

I don’t care if she could converse in Russian and Chinese. She could not speak ENGLISH (her native language) as well as most 3 year olds do and children learn how to converse and speak by speaking with others. She lived in a house full of adults and for that reason should have been ahead of a lot of children her age but the Frieda Fuzzypaws book video on Father’s Day indicates she didn’t and I agree with Dr. Glass on that.
Well, this makes more sense than the other “drowning ‘ theories and Casey DOES like money.
At 80% most jurors will say to themselves, "yep, the prosecution has shown me enough that I am comfortable with the notion that the defendant did it and I will not have to worry about losing any sleep over whether I helped convict the wrong guy."
There is never - or almost never - certainty in the law. For that reason math and law do not mix well.
Incidentally, in civil cases the burden is much lower, basically anything over 50%. The jury must find for the plaintiff if it thinks based on the evidence that it's "more likely than not" that the defendant is liable.
