Watching Bill O'Reilly and I want to kick my TV in
We are up to 4.
In one sense our mistake is playing by the rules. We need to take a page from their playbook (minus the violence and the hatred of the military, of course).
The last few times I’ve watched O’Reilly, I’ve sensed that Bill has picked up that Obama tingle in his leg also. Maybe he and Chrissy should team up.
Exactly—I was emailing my two RAT senators on CCB. I just keep thinking that maybe, maybe, maybe—”I do believe in spooks, I do believe in spooks”—it’ll pass in the Senate.
If he wants BHO people this election he damn well better attack Obama's opponents.
It was not long after the election that he said over the air that Free Republic was a right wing racist hate site as mean as any left wing site.
The best I could figure from doing searches of past threads (via google) his crack staff made that "judgement" from this string of characters on a few FR threads: "I hate blacks."
There were numerous threads.. BUT they were all part of the title of an article in a San Francisco area Asian publication, "Why I Hate Blacks," by a contributor explaining himself.
No FReeper expressed that thought. They were just discussing the article.
There was a thread containing that string of characters that was not about the article but again it was not a FReeper expressing his feeling.
When I get “normal” mad, it is just mad. But when I get over the top, explode mad, I usually start to think WHY is it that I am not just mad, but over the edge about this. It usually comes down to being mad at myself for feeling so helpless and for not having found any way to make things different or to a big gap between what I expect/hope to happen and what actually happens. It is getting very old to be always losing because the left has passion and never gives up, not even when they lose.
Do something, however small to fix things. If everybody who hates these shows would cancel cable and put their money together, they could do a lot. What is it now, $40 a month? Even if you just used the money for emergency supplies, or to self-publish a book or whatever.
I have not had cable for years now and don’t notice it a bit. Those “talkers” don’t even know as much as we do about what is going on, so why do we listen to them? We don’t respect their opinions. They only have as much power and influence as we grant them. Disconnect from cable and you not only have your money for something else, but you send a big message to “them”. And, it will feel good because it is empowering to just say NO.
Do Not Watch O’Reilly. He is a total wannabee who fancies himself as some kind of Independent just to be noticed. The truth is he doesn’t know who he really is and no one else does either. He will drive you crazy. I NEVER watch him anymore.
I dumped the Disney Channel yesterday from Dish (much to the chagrin of my 7 year old), and a side effect was that Fox News is gone too. No loss for me or my daughter.
O’Reilly is an obnoxious, self-obsessed bore, and a blowhard to boot. Back when I occasionally watched him before cancelling cable TV, I agreed with his positions about 85% of the time, but even when he was making a point I agreed with found him insufferable. It sounds like he’s been moving left since then if he’s spouting anti-TEA-party rhetoric now. Don’t watch him. It’s not worth your time, let alone the aggravation.
Done with this Guy. Just sent him an email.he pays attention to them don’t ya know? We need to overwhelm him with emails. Turn off his show and watch his ratings drop like a rock. OREILLY@FOXNEWS.COM

Back when Matt Drudge used to have a Sunday evening radio show, he had a saying he used frequently - which I took as true wisdom:
Drudge would say, that the single most feared action one can take against the liberal media, is on your remote control: The “OFF” switch.
Turn off Fox. Then tell them why. I just turned on my television (on FNC) only to be subjected to the pompous dope Karl Rove. And the pompous dope was on yesterday if I recall.
I couldn’t tell you if the pompous dope was on O’Reilly because I’ve stopped watching altogether.
Drudge was right. Change the channel.
It looks like the Senate will vote on the Cut Cap and Balance Bill tomorrow.

Beckle reminds me of Ed Shultz. Can’t watch him. I have quit watching BOR after the birth certificate stuff. He was just so full of himself I can’t stand him. All he wants are interviews with the Marxist that is in charge of our country.
Beckle is a union thug. He has his own show?
O’Reilly’s an establishment hack. Turn him off.
I think he’s on a show that replaced Beck that includes a panel of around 4 people. I flipped by one day and he was on sounding just like Schultz. I think he is a regular at that time slot now. I don’t watch much on FOX anymore.
