What’s he need a libary for? For his two books -——that he didn’t write? I’ll betcha dollars to donuts his administration will prove to be the least paperwork and electronic media generating administration in history. They are subverting the law and they won’t allow these communiques to be seen.

While you have a right to post this it’s kind of pointless. Obama will get a presidential library. They all do. I’m a lot more interested in making sure the library only reflects a four year presidency than where it gets built.

This is a system formally established in 1934, from a nascent but informal tradition. Given some of the assumptions you’ve made in your post, I don’t think you grok this tradition. Yes, Obama will get a presidential library, and no, he won’t have to demand one.

You know what would be just totally delicious? If the all-union workers on his library stage angry protests, work stoppages, sick-ins, and violent confrontations with journalists. It would be so richly deserved. Chickens coming home to roost and all that.
