PRAYERS Needed For Dubya!!
10-18-2011 | JustAmy

Posted on 10/18/2011 8:55:50 PM PDT by JustAmy

Texas FReeper Dubya, USMC Vet, is in need of prayer, BIG TIME! He has inoperable cancer.

I contacted his son today and learned that he is hospitalized and is not doing very well. His son said Dubya can use all the prayers we can offer.

Please Say a Prayer for this Dear, Sweet and Kind Man.

Will be praying for Dubya. Glad to know the pneumonia got nailed and pray that whatever Dubya decides regarding chemo vs alternative medicine, it will be right course. I will pray for all who are in contact with Dubya, professionally, family and friends. And I will pray that our combined prayers help to move this mountain.

I'm SO sorry sorry to hear 'bout "inoperable". I'll continue to pray for a miracle. In leiu of that, pleace accept my most humble appologies for my offenses:
It takes very little social conditioning before we conform to something for no reason that is ever adequately explained. Animal behavior researchers have shown this to be a fact of primate behavior.

Researchers obtained several monkeys (species being immaterial if not outright irrelevant), two cages, a supply of ripe bananas, hosepipe capable of delivering large quantities of water, and substantial supply of cold water. Half the monkeys obtained are placed in the primary expiriment cage (the other half placed in confines where they would be unwares of the expirment or any sounds eminating therefrom).

After a period of time when both populations of monkey became comfortable, a banana was placed into the expiriment cage requiring some effort on behalf of the monkeys therein to obtain, i.e., hanging from a string and various accouterments to build stairs necessary to obtain said fruit.

One enterprising monkey invariably will eandevor to obtain the fruit. Monkies NEVER work in concern; its always just ONE enterprising individual; i.e., monkies won't hoist each other onto their shoulders to get a reward, but they will endeavor to build stairs as a means to achieve their desire (or use an extension to grab).

Just before any monkey obtains their reward (regardless of how long it takes), ALL monkeyes in the cage are hosed down with large amounts of cold water. Shortly afterwards, another monkey will try to get the banana, resulting in yet another thorough dousing of ALL the monkies in the cage.

Very (quite astonishingly VERY) quickly monkeys will develop a conditioned response. Should another monkey have the nerve to make a move towards the reward, cage-mates will hammer the crap out of him. Before the second part of the experiment begins, it's worth taking a look inside the cage.

Although monkeys are social creatures, the aforementied conditioning produced an inevitable social breakdown. Most monkey will keep to themselves; whimpering uncontrollably at the thought of the unseen denizen of the hosepipe. Presumably, each monkey is experiencing the long dark teatime of the soul trying to convince himself that, actually, he never really cared much for bananas anyway. Once the condition of "social deadlock" has been achieved in the experiment - no monkey daring to even contemplate bent yellow fruit - there's no longer any need for the hosepipe.

The experiment continues, instead, by replacing one of the monkeys with one of the spare ones left in blissfull ignorance, i.e., in the controll group, who've been busy entertaining themselves doing the things that monkeys do best. Inevitably, it is observed the newly introduced monkey will make a beeline for the banana, i.e., jumping, climbing, making stairs, etc.; they'll receive a ritualistic beating from the existing populace. The system is now autonomous. When a replacement monkey is brought in and a veteran taken out, the previously new arrival will be quite happy to enjoin the ensuing brawl.

Researchers continue replacing monkeys, one at a time - each new monkey receiving a beating for their banana lust - and each new monkey joins the group of sociopaths pummeling the next newcommer. Ultimately researchers ended up with a cage full of monkeys, none of whom have ever been sprayed with water, who will all happily pounce on any monkey with banana ambitions.

Why do they do it? Because that's the way things have always been done, and the inevitable punchline:
That's where company policy comes from.

PTL is right! Things seem to be looking up for Dubya!

Like I’ve done with my ovarian cancer friend who is now cancer free...prayers, prayers, and more prayers...and the right prayers are needed.

I’m praying that Dubya will be God’s miracle!

Thank you so much for the update!
