St. Louis Cardinals Besmirch MLB
10-29-2011

Posted on 10/28/2011 10:33:34 PM PDT by BigJohn44

October 28, 2011--The St. Louis Cardinals have won the world series in an improbable, luck-filled and quirky convergence of events.

For example, the number of dribblers Lance Berkman hit that rolled like bocci balls through the infield was exceeded only by the dribbles in Tony LaRussa's depends.

Okay, let's allow these Cardinal fan cretins a little superficial happiness for once. It has probably been years since some of these fat losers have even cracked a smile.

But the real story of the 2011 world series is that the all time villan of MLB, Tony LaRussa,a piece of human garbage and a criminal-minded coward, was somehow able to hijack the fall classic and "win" the series. He deserves NO credit whatsoever.

Tony the Pants Pisser, who would drill his own mother (with a baseball you perverts), should be banned from baseball for his prolific practice of throwing at opposing batters. And, he should have been banned years ago for condoning Mark McGwire's blatant steroid abuse.

This is a permanent stain on MLB, and LaRussa caused it.

To see this piece of garbage standing in the Cardinals'dugout with Mark McGwire, the biggest fraud in the history of the game, is an utter disgrace.

NO ONE in America wanted the Cardinals to win. Their fraudulent presence in the world series was a total disgrace.

The 2011 Fall Classic has been besmirched and will forever be marked with a black asterisk.

I just got home from downtown. A couple of people were dancing on their own cars since there was some grid lock. A few crazies ran between lanes high fiving drivers at a stand still. Lots of picture taking. That was it so far.

Yeah, that was a BS excuse, of course. Cruz sensed the wall and pulled up short — the video replay makes that very clear. I’ve seen Bobby Abreu do that many times when he played RF for the Yanks, but never in a spot like that.

The World Series ended last night when Freese hit that double in the bottom of the ninth inning while Cruz was practicing his ballet leaps out in right field.

Cruz's mis-play will go down in baseball history along with Bill Buckner's error in Game 6 of the 1986 World Series.

The joke about Buckner goes:

"Buckner tried to commit suicide after the Red Sox lost the 1986 World Series, but the bullet went between his legs ..."

Texas? Isn’t that the state filled with solid rightwing Republicans that somehow finds a way to launch RINOs on disastrous careers to wreak havoc on the rest of the US?

And what an insult to Josh Hamilton that spent the entire playoffs with a sports hernia and still went all out.........I wouldn’t have blamed him if he popped Cruz in the mouth for that.

And thing is now, nobody will give a crap about the 8 post season HRs he hit, all they’ll remember is his sandbagging.

You think Ranger fans will be as hard on Cruz as Red Sox fans were on Buckner? I think probably not — Boston fans are a lot more rabid and bitter. But yeah, Ranger fans won’t forget.

Congratulations on forging new frontiers in the realm of the ignorant, vacuous, uninformed poor loser.

There’s always 2067; the next time the Brewers might actually sniff the post-season.

I would trade Cruz, Ogando, Young, all of the chokers, because they’ll forever be associated with this no matter what they do, bring in some fresh faces.

1) It did rain substantilly in St. Louis, despite your agenda-suppoprting fictions, and the forecast for the following two days was markedly better. The decision was a wise one.

2) The extra day also allowed the Rangers the equal opportunity for resting their staff and positioning a start for Derek Holland, the lefty who had shut down the WORLD CHAMPIONS earlier in the series.

3) The Reds won’t win next year either.

LaRussa is a baseball genius...perhaps an evil genius...cause he must have done some kind of voodoo to get the Phillies to sweep Atlanta in the final 3 games of the reg. season...allowing one of the hottest teams in the league at the time(his Card's) to get into the postseason...over one of the worst(the Braves).

...(either that or Phillies management must be filled with complete baseball-strategy idiots)

Face it, the same baseball gods that love teams like the Cardinals and Yankees...hate the Cubs(and others).

...nobody said life was fair.

What we're seeing here is incandescent irony: Cardinals fans who think they are elated but cannot really celebrate because they know their organization--LaRussa, McGwire, et al--is a fraud.

The Cardinals won the World Series to erase the fraud, like a rapist finds God and erases his crime . . . LOLOLOLSt.LouisFraudsLOLOL

But our cokehead manager was too stupid to take advantage of it.....but he's untouchable now, just like with the POTUS, if you dare criticize him, you get labelled as a racist.

“Texas pulled off the biggest Choke since the Red Sox in 1986.”

####

Well the Cardinals just had to show up then and let it all just fall right in their laps, correct?

Easy as pie.

Yup. Plenty of room for Cruz to make the catch. I’m not sure if he was even ON the warning track. Can’t blame it ALL on him, though. The pitching sucked. The Ranger’s managing was horrible.

Good post.

The Rangers aren’t going anywhere. They are a stocked, young team, that should be competitive for years.

I’ll pull for you guys to win the AL pennant again next year ( a MAJOR accomplishment two years in a row and not to be trivialized); anything that keeps the AL East out of the Fall Classic.

The pitching sucked.

Colby Lewis pitched well enough, but Michael Young's butchery at first base betrayed him.

Yeah, just like the Braves....although they did get one title.
