"Bachmann told The Associated Press on Wednesday that voters should be concerned about Cain's reversals on abortion rights..."

*************

Alright Mrs. Bachmann...

I thought you were an honest women who was in this presidential race because you loved your country. I’ve supported you and given your campaign money.

I’ve given you opportunity after opportunity to pull back the unjust attacks against a man who stands for the same things that you supposedly do.

But each time, you choose to double-down.

You KNEW that Mr. Cain's 999 was a transition to the Fair tax... a tax plan that YOU also support.

You know darn well that Mr. Cain is pro-life. You know darn well that the abortion comments were drummed up. You know darn well that he’s personally done more to support the pro-life movement than most people. He’s put his money where is mouth is.

And yet you still insist on trying to take advantage of a political opportunity rather than back up your conservative brother.

At one point, you were my first choice, Mrs. Bachmann, although I liked Mr. Cain just as much. I'd have happily pulled the lever for either of you.

But now, I'm putting you in the same category with Romney... NEVER. I will NEVER vote for you.

Somehow your betrayal is worse than Romeny. I always knew what he was. You actually had me fooled.

At this point, you’ve lost all esteem in my eyes. I’m so grateful that you showed your true colors before I wasted any more time or money with you.

I’m done with you Mrs. Bachmann. You are NOT a good person. You are a political hack that’s used us Tea Partiers for your own political gain. You are not sincere.

If Mr. Cain stumbles and falls out of this race, you will not be my second choice. I'll write in my own name before I vote for you.

Sincerely, FReeper Marie and Furious Friends and Family

Seems like Cain supporters are whining that their candidate is being attacked unfairly.

When Bachmann was taking cheap shots at Perry over the vaccine issue, Cain supporters were cheering her from the sidelines.

Now she has turned on Cain, his supporters seem to be complaining.

Ditto. Regrettably, I gave the max to Bachmann’s 2010 congressional re-election campaign and, boy, was I PISSED when she attacked Palin, via Rollins. Now, I’ve learned my lesson — not to make “knee jerk” campaign contributions to anyone. (However, I still maintain a Palin-4-Prez stash just in case. So far, nobody deserves tt. too bad ...)

All she’s done in this campaign is make herself look like a dingdong.

Only candidate I donated to was Sarah Palin. It'll be a cold day in Hell before I give any of these self-servers a red cent.It will take nothing short of a miracle for us to have someone worth nominating. They're all so phony and a bigger crock of crapballs for candidates,i've never seen.
God help us as a country and a Republic.

Don’t feel bad-I live in her district and I’ve not only donated to every congressional campaign and to her presidential campaign, I was also a phone bank volunteer for past congressional campaigns.

She really lost me with the hyperventilation over Gardisil, and has shown herself since to be nothing but Romney’s attack dog. A few weeks back, I got a call from her fundraising team (I had been not picking up these calls but decided that night to give them a piece of my mind).

The told the guy on the phone that I wouldn’t consider giving her any more money till I saw her go after Romney at least ONCE in a debate. The guy then insulted my intelligence by claiming that she had indeed gone after both Romney & Perry. I rebutted that I’d seen every debate and it was nothing but a lovefest with Romney. It was unbelievable. It was the classic “are you gonna believe me or your own lying eyes?” moment.

Needless to say, I’ve been completely disillusioned by her. A few months ago, I thought she was one of us. I defended her on this forum when people attacked her for hiring Ed Rollins. They were claiming then that she was a Romney stalking horse, and at that time I wouldn’t have believed that claim in a million years.

Now, my eyes have been opened to the political opportunist she truly is. I guess she believes that Romney is likely the nominee and she is angling to be the bone he throws to conservatives by picking her as VP. I hope she gets out soon before she makes an even bigger fool of herself, but unfortunately, I think old Mitt’s most likely promised to pay off her bills if she agrees to stick around for a while.

Right now I have it set at 125% and am fine with that, but still love caps....LOL I am just lazy and admit it..

When they have to go to 150% its time for surgery...don't like hospitals but at least now a days its usually done as outpatient.(nurses and doctors make the worse patients. I have taken care of both in my years in working in hospitals..but doctors wives are the pitts...

I quit thinking of myself as a Republican in 2010. I now think of myself as a CONSERVATIVE. A Tea Partier.

I think a lot of people, myself included, have come to the same conclusion. And yet I'll have to register as a Republican in order to vote in the Republican primary election next year.

Good post.

I thought it ill-advised of Michelle to get in the race in the first place. She had zero chance of winning it. Maybe she was shooting for VP.

After the Ed Rollins hiring I thought less of her. Guess she put winning over principles.

I am impressed with her work in Congress. I hope she continues on that path.

We’ve been very disappointed in Bachmann’s behavior during this campaign. We wish she’d get back to the job the voters trusted her to do and stop bothering serious candadates.

My Mom had cataracts removed from both eyes, with no problem. She was very happy, because it took forever for one of them to get to the stage where it could be removed.

Why do I get the feeling that if she had said similar things about Romney you would have been cheering her on? My opinion is that neither Cain nor Bachman is Presidential material. I cannot get excited by a group of candidates who aren’t qualified to carry Newt’s baggage, and I can’t get enthused by anyone with so much baggage. Whoever survives this circular firing squad and gets the nomination, however, will get all the enthusiasm and support I can muster. Any of these wannabes is imminently preferable to the miserablly incompetent failure we have now.

And to think that I said something nice about her today. Well, she's just dropped to the bottom of my list:

1. Cain

2. Gingrich

3. Perry

4. Bachmann

Any more of this kind of thing and she'll drop off entirely.

I like your list, though I don’t see 3 and 4 as having much of a chance.

Thanks. It may seem that way now, but in 2008 I thought McCain had little chance of being the nominee, for which I was grateful. I hope that nothing like what happened then will happen this time around, but I fear that our nominee in 2012 may be unappealing at best.

“Why do I get the feeling that if she had said similar things about Romney you would have been cheering her on?”

I stood up for Perry when it came to the rock, his wife’s bad interview and other things that were flat-out BS. And I can’t stand Perry.

If she came out repeating lies about Romney, I’d still be losing respect for her.

I want an HONEST candidate.

How can Bachmann say that she stands for conservative principles, then throw those things into the wind when she thinks it suits her politically? How are conservatives supposed to respect someone who proves time and time again that they’re willing to get dirty for personal gain?

No. I wouldn’t be happy if she were repeating lies about Romney. Romeny has enough legitimate dirt that there’s plenty to go on.

So that begs the next question; Why *hasn’t* she gone after Romney? He’s the easiest target in a conservative year.

I’m pretty much stuck on Cain, although he still has plenty of time to screw things up.

Gingrich is good at defending the conservative cause, but I don’t trust him much more than I do Romney. His embracing global warming and snuggling up with Pelosi makes him just another slick politician in my eyes.

Cain is imperfect, but at least he’s real. He’s like Palin used to be before the meat grinder tore her up.
