Who is Ginger White?
http://www.nydailynews.com ^ | BY Bill Hutchinson & Joseph Straw

Posted on 11/29/2011 4:59:06 AM PST by Lucky9teen

The Atlanta woman who says she was Herman Cain’s mistress for 13 years is a down-on-her-luck single mom who once sued a former employer for sexual harassment.

Ginger White surfaced in bombshell fashion on Monday, telling an Atlanta TV station that she’s “not proud” of what she described as long-running sexual shenanigans with the married GOP White House contender.

“I didn’t want to come out this way,” she said in an interview with Atlanta’s FOX affiliate WAGA-TV that put Cain on the defensive even before it was aired.

White described herself in the interview as a jobless former businesswoman. She is middle-aged, has two children and was evicted from her Atlanta home earlier this month, according to a background check done by the TV station.

WAGA reporters also found records showing she has been hit with several eviction notices in DeKalb County, Ga., over the past six years.

She filed for bankruptcy 23 years ago, the station reported. In 2001, she also filed a sexual harassment suit, which was later settled, according to the station.

Her former business partner, Kimberly Vay, once sued her and accused her of stalking, the station reported.

Vay, who did not respond to calls for comment Monday, also sought an order of protection against White, charging that she was bombarded with emails and texts “threatening [a\] lawsuit” and defaming her character.

A judge ruled in favor of Vay in a libel suit she had filed against White, the station reported.

White admits she has struggled as a single mother, but added that her financial woes shouldn’t define her.

“I don’t think that makes me out to be a bad person,” she told the station. “It makes me out to be one of the millions of people right now trying to keep a roof over their head.”

White said she ignored the fact Cain was married during their alleged affair, which she said included trysts in hotel rooms across the country. She says they met at a business conference during the 1990s.

“It was pretty simple,” White told WAGA. “It wasn't complicated. I was aware that he was married. And I was also aware I was involved in a very inappropriate situation, relationship.”

Cain, 65, who has been married for 43 years, went on CNN to deny the affair before White’s complete WAGA-TV interview was broadcast live.

His lawyer, Lin Wood, told the TV station that because White hasn't alleged harassment or assault, the matter doesn't belong in the news.

“The public's right to know and the media's right to report has boundaries and most certainly those boundaries end outside of one's bedroom door,” Wood wrote.

White said she came forward because she is upset over how Cain handled previous allegations that he sexually harassed four women, two of whom reportedly received cash settlements from the National Restaurant Association, where he was CEO during the 1990s.

“It bothered me that they were being demonized, sort of; they were treated as if they were automatically lying, and the burden of proof was on them,” White said. “I felt bad for them.”

Cain, the former head of the Godfather’s Pizza chain, was running near the top of the polls before the claims of sexual harassment broke.

Last week, Cain dropped to third place in a national GOP poll run by Quinnipiac University. He came in with 14% of the vote, behind ascendant former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.

He said Monday he would stay in the race as long as he had his wife’s support. But White put even more pressure on him, offering what she said was proof of the alleged hush-hush romance.

She gave the TV station loads of cell phone records, and Cain’s personal cell phone, which he answered when someone from the station called it.

She also gave the station’s reporter two books Cain signed for her. In one of them, his 2001 autobiography “CEO of SELF,” Cain added a little note: “Friends are forever! Everything else is a bonus.”

Cain doesn’t have a track record.

—Seems to me if she was his mistress he would have made sure she wasn’t evicted from her apartments.—

Well, not to put too fine a point on it, but I don’t believe she was ever evicted. I think she just got eviction NOTICES.

Just another “nuance” to add to this thing.

And I do think the devil is in the nuances.

Wow yet another Democrat Obama-loving lawyer finds yet another desperate woman in distress to throw out allegations against Cain.

And again without any smoking gun. And this time on a matter that isn’t even relevant to harassment or assault because that bombed.

The thing that bothers me is you could replace Herman Cain with the name Bill Clinton on every one of these articles and post date it to 1992 and it would read like a current event. Candidate: Deny, deny, deny.. Campaign: Nuts and sluts.

BEE ESS!

As i posted previously, there is this little thing callee the internet and public records... That was not the case in Clinton's era.

Uh. For being on FR so long, you sure are ignorant.

Of course, Cain has a long and successful track record, across several industries. Do just a hint of a bit of research before you embarrass yourself and betray your ignorance.

As I said, Cain’s devotees would stick with him no matter how much proof was presented...as for non-devotees, a fair amount of proof actually has been presented. Cain is the one who has offered no substantial proof that these things didn’t happen (i.e., that he was elsewhere at the time, that he was with someone at the time, etc.) and has even lied about the documented events (the employment settlements).

Now I see people here rationalizing it and even say, well, hey, so what’s wrong if he gets a little on the side every now and then. What red-blooded guy doesn’t? This overlooks issues like abuse of power, abuse of trust, and basic honesty. Cain is a Baptist minister, after all, so he should supposedly know better.

Remember, as with Clinton, it’s not about the sex, it’s about the lying. And Cain has certainly been doing a lot of that. Frankly, I’d suspect he never even mentioned the mistress to the expensive attorney he bought to attack the other women. Even the attorney sounded a little non-plussed.

Yup the report was INTENTIONALLY vague.

You don’t need to say 61 calls or texts, to or from.

If you have just one damning text (or call) you’d show it.

And they barely mentioned this woman has stalked and harassed someone before with texts and calls.

Every one of the smears on Cain are left intentionally vague. Why?

I think Herman Cain is on an ego trip on the Cain Train and I'm not going along for the ride! But, I am off on an over night road trip...will you miss me?

No.

Be sure to write.

This fantasy has all the earmarks of a woman lying through her teeth TO HER FRIEND, making up a fanciful tale to entertqai or because Ms White is a mentally ill person with delusions of grandeur. The 'friend' then believes the crap and says she is going to the media if her 'friend' Ginger does not because the other liars women of questionable veracity need support with Ginger's 'truth'. The delusional female, Ginger White, gets caught up in her own fantasy tale and then suddenly it turns deadly serious and she must step in front of cameras and either fess up that she made up a tale to entertain her friend and pretend to defend the other liars, or be exposed as a chronic liar being used by the DNC to assissinate the Christian Character of Herman Cain.

Until there is absolute evidence of sexual misconduct by Herman Cain, this is all just the Clarence Thomas style DNC lynching of a prominent black conservative. Sadly, black voters are too stupid to get it and will vote like dullard drones for any DNC candidate despite the filth and character assassinations against black men and women (remember the DNC campaign to smear Condi Rice because she was a prominent black conservative?)..

I haven't seen anybody from Cain's past come forth to defend the man's character.

Complete lie. Stop running your mouth for a sec and get facts, ok?

That is all it would take... yet nothing.

I noticed that I haven't seen anybody from Cain's past come forth to defend the man's character.Where are his past business associates?

Maybe, in your need to slander the man, you haven't been paying attention like you should.

Hannity, for one, has come out very publically in support of HC. I also think HC's contemporaries at the NRA at the time also came out in support of him.

You need to do a better job on your homework.

Men and women cannot be "friends". It's all explained in this movie (and I agree with it):

—Any man is a fool to have or describe a woman as a “friend”.—

My wife and I have an agreement. I never do “lunch” or “coffee” with another woman when it is just the two of us.

Fortunately, dinner and drinks are ok! (not really) ;-)

I confess that is another nuance in this case I have noticed as well.

“... a fair amount of proof actually has been presented” against Cain.

Uh, no. ACCUSATIONS, yes. PROOF — nope.

Dang, woman, what is your issue with Cain? Why the assumption of guilt? Why believe the conservative-HATING MSM rather than the plain facts before our eyes?
