Can’t really go wrong with either choice. It falls back to familiarity and personal preference. .40 is excellent flat shooter. That would be my choice if I wasn’t so head over heels in love with ‘ol slabsides, Series 70 Govt and Commander.
G30!
Thanks for your thoughts, I’ll take a look at the Walther along with taking a closer look at both of the other guns. The Sig gives you the option of changing from the 40 to either a 45 or 9. I don’t know if I’d ever take advantage of this but it’s kind of sharp.
Good choice. My fiancee’ cc’s that same weapon. Loves it.
Can’t go wrong with a SIG; I’ve never fired a CZ, but, owning SIGs, I’ve never felt any need at all for a CZ.
You’re right on the 642 my wife has one....if she can find it in her purse.
Based on the pictures on that site, IF there even was a holster it them (I didn’t see one), I don’t have the body for one of them.
Depending on what you’re wearing, you can DEFINITELY get to it.
I can get to it through a Polo, a T-shirt, etc.
If you’re needing to get to it, you’ll get to it.
It’s very comfortable and terrifically concealable.
Luv my little p238. Most accurate mouse gun I’ve ever owned. Take it everywhere.
Once you’ve started on .40 cal I haven’t wanted to change. If I had to do it over again I’d do the .45 cal just do to access to the ammo. (my son’s a shooting instructor)
“I know you didn’t ask, but I love my Springfield Armory SD subcompact in .40...”
My Springfield XD ACP .45 with 4 inch barrel is a dream. My friend’s Walther P90 has more kick and barrel lift than my XD .45...easy to keep mine on target...and it has 13 rd magazines. Trigger action is smooth...much smoother than my friend’s Walther.
I'll second any SA vote. Love my XD 40, has never malfunctioned. I live just a county away from their headquarters and have had excellent dealings with them.
I’ll checkout the Baretta. The rub on the Sig P250 seemed to be it’s sight alignment had some issues. Hard to know if the guys had messed up the sights or had the wrong grip, but it was more than one guy.
I’ve had a CCW for longer than I remember (1970s?) and it does not establish a singular choice of weapons according to my PA Sheriff. I listed a firearm once, 1911A but because that’s the only room on the line. The CCW provides authorization for carry but not the firearm. Am I wrong on this or is my buddy wrong on this?
It still comes down to what fits you best personally.
Amen to that. Thanks for the thoughts.
I’ve never ruled the 27 out, it is comfortable to stick with Glock.
Very sexy, will check it out.
That’s my little friend as well. In a belt holster it’s the size of a cell phone and it will go in your hip pocket if necessary. The gun you fight with is the one you have with you.
My CCW is from Ohio and I live in NC. I’ve never been asked what I carried. I wonder what difference it could possible make to the law?
