The absolute worst line from the Beck interview:

GINGRICH: I guess I’m a Theodore Roosevelt Republican

How soon we forget...

JOHN MCCAIN, JUNE 2008: “I count myself as a conservative Republican, yet I view it to a large degree in the Theodore Roosevelt mold,”

T.R. was a PROGRESSIVE, not a "conservative". He introduced big government solutions to America, launched the age of radical environmentalism, and endorsed and cheerleaded EUGENICS, as later brought to perfection by Margaret Sanger ("human weeds") and Adolf Hitler.

How can anyone with an ounce of integrity can nitpick Gingrich’s record and then turn around and endorse Mitt freakin’ Romney. Ridiculous.

Huh? Glenn Beck supports Michele Bachmann.

And how can you explain Newt’s near perfect Conservative voting record when he was in Congress?

Beck is following Mormon orders:

get Romney elected!

Interesting. And how does endorsing Bachmann work in that little theory of yours?

I used to LOVE Glenn Beck. I don't know if I was fooled or if Glenn has changed,

Same here, I thought he was the heir apparent to Rush, thats how fun his shows were. Back during the 2004 election, the guy was a hoot!

But in the last several years, something has changed. I mean, part of him is still the same guy I thought was so great, but there is also this new addition to personality. As if his increased popularity has made him take himself much to seriously at times. It is very off putting.

Does that mean Bachmann will be the nominee?

I think he sees the dark times that are coming, and it’s hard not to be changed by that. I also think that he thinks that it’s his job to warn people about what’s coming, because the LSM sure isn’t.

Thank you for the link. I read the whole thing. I know sometimes (most times) it is different reading it vs watching it, but Glenn never laid a hand on Newt. While it technically not a “gotcha” interview, Glenn did try to make Newt look bad. How did Glenn do at that? EPIC FAIL. Newt can explain anything. He has actually thought it through. The rest of us haven’t.

Now that I’m older and take several medications on a regular basis, I know that when I turn 65 and my insurance runs out, I would have to stop taking several of them. I just couldn’t afford it. Prescription drugs are the most critical part of health care today. Times change.

On global warming, Newt is still of the mind that CO2 might be a contributor. His approach, since he thinks the jury is out on it, to promote nuclear for example and other good ideas, to get off foreign oil, reduce emissions at the same time as a consequence. It’s a win, win. NOTHING wrong with that approach.

On several other topics he was of the opinion that small change over time is better than radical change. Easier to get through Congress and easier for the people to accept. He may very well be right about that.

Seat belts come to mind. They didn’t DEMAND that everyone wear seat belts. First they gradually required auto makers to offer, then require front seat belts, then require front & back seat belts while not requiring you to actually use them. Finally after years, they did, but not really enforce it. Most people today wear their seat belts, voluntarily to be safe. Many lost lives and injuries have been prevented by the seat belt laws. Should we repeal them? NO. Was phasing them in a good idea? YES.

If you just listen to what Newt is saying, he is either right or not wrong. Most people don’t listen, but more & more are and that is why Newt is rising in the polls. It’s not that they don’t know about Newt, it’s that they like what they hear.

Beck said he would be voting for Bachmann and said nice things about Santorum and Cain, while Cain was in the race.

Glen Beck is pissed off that Newt Gingrich is kicking both Jon Huntsman, Jr. and Willard Romney to the curb where both will continue their careers as gutter snipes.

I heard Beck comment on it during his radio show this morning. It seems there was air turbulence during the interview. I guess Newt was on a plane during the interview. I didn’t hear it so I don’t know.

Its pretty pathetic if the choice is between a lizard and a mouse.. Having said that I think Newt might do better on judges that Willard. Willard has a record of appointing liberal judges. To me saving the judiciary is what it is about.

I thought Glenn did a pretty good job of trying to pin Newt down on some of his apparently conflicting views, and pointed out some inconsistencies.

Glenn isn’t “seeing” anything. He thinks himself a prophet. They call people like that “CRAZY”. Glenn is off his rocker. Can’t you see that? CREEPY! WEIRD! CUCKOO, CUCKOO, CUCKOO.

And his sycophant cohorts agree with him because he PAYS THEM very well to do so.

I wonder all summer and Fall why Bachmann didn’t lay a hand on Mitt. sadly it seems if either mitt win and chooses Bachmann. or Newt wins and chooses Cain then we have been had. I hate being blunt considering I like Cain and Bachmann. But both proved to be too weak to lay a hand on Mitt and Cain on Newt. So and it is a sad thing to say they let both skate by without putting doubt in voters mind.

I have to wonder what is going on to cause all this. Now Cain is out. Bachmann is only one with any remote chance left who identifies with the tea party label and she has been marginalized. She doesn’t got after Mitt and the Perry Clan finished her off when Perry was doing well.

Thanks for the reply. I read it and listened to the video. Seems the video may have cut off the last part of the interview, but I sure don’t see the ‘beef’. Like you said, Glenn asked tough questions, Newt gave substantive responses. For sure Glenn didn’t make Newt look bad.

I agree, lots of people don’t listen to what Newt is saying, and they react with emotion. But also like you said, that is changing. People are starting to listen and are realizing, he has well thought out ideas relative to very tough issues.

Have a good day.

“GINGRICH: I guess I’m a Theodore Roosevelt Republican”

AGAIN, you are sound biting Newt just to trash him. You left out all of Newt's explanation where he agreed and Disagreed with Teddy.

The truth, the WHOLE truth, so help you GOD.

Neut’s agreeing to work on education reform with Al Sharpton and Arne Duncan does not earn him additional conservative cred, IMO.

Newt is all over the place. He can’t be trusted IMO.

One day he’s a Republican, the next day a Liberal. I’m voting for Perry and hoping he comes back. There’s still time.
