Really...lol.

Gingrich is a progressive. John McCain has stated he is a Roosevelt Republican - CASE CLOSED.

Gingrich is the one splitting hairs about his statement regarding Teddy.

Wake up. Gingrich, Romney, Bush, McCain ALL looked to the government as the apparatus to solve problems we face.

It’s wrong, it doesn’t work and we need to wise up to who we really need to stand up for in 2012 this is probably our last chance.

All the modern day candidates have a searchable past except for Obama who was apparently born in a manger. You can whittle down the field to only those who have served in the US Armed Forces or those with a credible ACU rating. You can even pick from those who have attained the most personal wealth or the least. Congressmen and Senators should be the last choice. Which Congressmen have been crusading to uncover the fact that none of them are subject to insider trading laws or that neither they or their families will ever be affected by Obamacare?

The list gets shorter after that.

Agreed. That and many other things. However, we’re scraping the bottom of the barrel now, and may have to decide upon the less distasteful. And, I’m pretty pi**ed about it.

Neut IS all over the place.

Perry started off with a bang...he had most Texans I know in support. Then, the bottom fell out with his deplorable debating skills.

I know, I know..."we're not voting for best debater, etc., etc."

As a Texan, I've never seen Perry speak like he has in the debates. Come to think of it, I've never seen him in a debate, tho.

I prefer Bachmann or Santorum in the current mix, and would gladly support either one. I will vote for nobody if it comes down to a Progressive. Ya’ll know who they are. The worst thing to happen at this point, is to push forward a Big Govt Progressive, to give the Republicans cover to make “Hope and Change” acceptable policy permanent.

And how can you explain Newt’s near perfect Conservative voting record when he was in Congress?

Ronald Reagan described Sandra Day O'Connor as a "conservative" and "strict constructionist" in naming her the the Supreme Court. Would you describe her that way now?

I like the clip of Newt saying he’s a Teddy Roosevelt Republican. Great timing.

Hard to believe that FReepers are falling so hard for Newt.

He’s only marginally better than Romney, and both are still better than Obama, but some of Newt’s positions are pretty impossible to defend.

This really is a sad-sack primary.

How can anyone with an ounce of integrity can nitpick Gingrich’s record and then turn around and endorse Mitt freakin’ Romney. Ridiculous.

Please, quit spreading this lie. With my own ears I heard Beck say that he supports Bachmann.

Of course Beck says he supports Bachmann. He knows she doesn’t stand a snowball’s chance in hell. He also knows she’s Mitt Romney’s stalking horse.

Since when is a carbon tax “private sector”?

I think he was referring to Cap and Trade. Algore made tens of millions off it.

The early destruction of Herman Cain makes more sense than ever. The path is now safe and clear for the progressive elites. They will get one of their own no matter what. Just like 2008.

I think you've got it.

"Perry will be the last man standing....."

Maybe some persuasive people need to talk with Christie again. And Jindal.
