Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is dissing President Obama’s holiday greeting card, which features a painting of first dog Bo sleeping in front of a fireplace decorated with red bows and greenery.
The card is “odd,” the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee told Fox News. Palin added that a Yuletide greeting from the White House should express “American foundational values illustrated and displayed on Christmas cards and on a Christmas tree.”
Fox News Radio has also chimed in, trying to fit the card into the network’s “war on Christmas” theme, saying:
“The official White House holiday card makes no mention of the word Christmas and instead focused on Bo the First Dog based on wishes of the first family.”

I have about 1,000 reasons for disliking Obama but I could give a rat's ass what kind of Christmas or holiday or whatever cards the White House sends out.
It's like complaining how high the grass in the yard is while the house burns to the ground.

The card should have had a picture of chairman mao on it. Better suited to the little tyrant.
I think the card shows that the White House is full of nothing but empty chairs.

Eh this kind of makes us look petty being picky over every little thing. It just makes it look like we want to harp on everything and then our more important legitimate criticisms will be viewed with skepticism.
The card looks nice and it was probably designed by pr people with not much input from President.
Maybe Bo is really in charge there. BS had him flown back to DC from HI so he could have a photo op at the pet store. Every room of the WH has holiday decorations and a larger than life replica of Bo. Seems to me that there is a message there somewhere.

Back during the ‘08 campaign days, wasn’t there a time when Hussein said that his girls don’t get Christmas gifts, or that they don’t celebrate Christmas, or something like that? With his ratings so pitiful, maybe he’s making a small effort to imply that they’re into Christmas now.

I agree. This whole dissing on a Christmas card borders on ridiculous. Sarah should really pick her fights better and not be petty because more people will lose faith in her while she makes these lame jabs.
It’s a White House Christmas card. If you look through the last 40 years, you will see there are some really horrific cards that came out. During ALL administrations (including Reagan’s).

You missed the point.
Their talk is meaningless. Blogs produce better results from whistle blowers that others just report on or follow.
Few in the media request write in campaigns or list who or what not to vote for and why or why not, that would be to committal.
At best talking heads add to misdirection of pertinent events.
Not surprising. He can’t wait to take his non-Christian, Christmas-avoiding-pretending-it-isnt-happening, muslim vacation. Which many, MANY muslims do around this time of the year.
The White House card can be interpreted as the following message from The Socialist in Chief:
Happy Holidays, my pets.
Best thing about the WH in the card is the dog.
Muslims practicing al-taqiyaa would.
And Obama practices al-taqiyaa.
