I think Randy got it right when he told Phillips that next time Phillips should pick the song. If they are going to team the singers into duets, then they should alternate as to who picks the songs so that they each get a shot to shine.

She chooses Pink's “Perfect”. Don't know this song either, but it's good. Nice choice for Hollie, but it's another intense--almost desperate sounding--song.
Even so ...
J-Lo: You look beautiful tonight, Hollie! (uh-oh) You sang beautifully tonight. You should be proud of yourself. We'll see how it pans out. (Under the bus she goes)
Steven: It wasn't perfect tonight for me. Kinda laid there. But you look pretty.
Randy: All of a sudden very quiet in here. (laughs nervously) No, it wasn't perfect, but it was a lot better than last week (the crowd comes to life, cheering). Definitely stronger.
