It's a bizarre belief. After all, if there were truly broad masses of Independents we'd have heard about them somewhere besides structured polls. They have no spokesmen, they have no candidates, they have no cohesive ideology ~ so who are they other than people invented for the purpose of misrepresenting American public opinion.

I was speaking from a “secular” point of view as the average person sees. Were I speaking from a “Christian” view...I wouldn’t have been as charitable. Abortion is an Abomination. Of course, to be fair, so is sexual immorality. The key is if the person has trully repented.
