Mafia ? (Il zotto di pazzo)

Posted on 02/01/2012 3:44:24 PM PST by chrismac

It might be connected with the strange goings on around here : Our car stolen, with $4000 of damage; Our neighbour's healthy rabbit dying unexpectedly; Our neighbour's letterbox being destroyed; Curious spam emails about las vegas; The odd curious phone call; Faeces being smeared on our church Car windows smashed and things taken at church - they now have patrols as a result Breakin at church and organ damaged. Mysterious deaths of stars, such as Heath Ledger, Brittany and her husband, Michael Jackson, David Carradine, and others : http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2010/05/24/what-killed-brittanys- husband.html http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/31103217/ns/today-entertainment/t/david- carradine-found-dead-thailand-hotel/

Connect the dots if you dare, to see the truth.

“Someone assassinated the Bok Choy monastery!” Oh, c’mon. You know that Bok Choy is craftier than that. It was only the *fake* Bok Choy monastery. No one can find the real one. (Glad I could help.)

Best wishes for a quick recovery! I was on my way to bed with Kathleen when a spew occurred. Fortunately, I had enough warning to put her on the floor, so the cleanup was easy ... but now we’re back to watching “Murder, She Wrote” until Whenever. There are 264 episodes ...

I think I’m responsible for Crowbar’s problem. I think I’ve miscommunicated: the humans are exhibiting the same symptoms. Took Crowbar to the vet as soon as we adopted him, and they gave him a clean bill of health—no parasites, etc. I really think that the cooked chicken and whatever else I’ve fed him is the problem. Maybe he has food allergies or something. Anyway, I’m going to be very careful about what we’re feeding him and not get too creative w/his diet. If he looks like he’s dwindling, off to the vet we go! Thanks!

We gave Ash too much pork roast once. The outcome was unpleasant.

Do you like “Murder She Wrote”? I’ve missed out on a lot of cultural experiences, so it’s good to get recommendations. One of the FReepers recommended Clint Eastwood’s “The Unforgiven,” and hubby and I enjoyed it. We’re thinking of following in The Old Lady’s footsteps and getting rid of TV or, alternatively, putting up an antenna and getting local channels.

We try to feed Crowbar the good stuff that we eat minus onion and garlic. When I walk him, he snuffles around a lot—I used to worry about the snakes, but they hide under stationary structures more frequently than under leaves. Still, he could have picked up a parasite from the local wildlife. Today, we calmed him down sufficiently to dremel his right front paw nails. Later, I’ll attempt to brush his teeth. We plan to tackle one paw at a time until he arrives at the conclusion that we’re not trying to kill him.

Face: I watched a bird program this evening on Animal Planet. The way that they talked about sick birds reminds me of the way sick cats act (and street kids who don’t want to demonstrate any vulnerability.) They said that birds have to be really sick before you notice. I hope it’s just moulting season that The Stig is going through. I’m sure you know him very well. I don’t pick up on animal stuff as well as I should.

"Working very hard...........started 3 companies."

I could probably help you out. I could do half your work.

I mean, I usually only do half of mine, so what would be the difference?

“Murder, She Wrote” is clever and enjoyable, with a good regular cast and all the familiar faces of the 1980s, which wouldn’t be familiar to you if you weren’t watching tv in the 1980s. Mom and I used to watch it when it was originally broadcast.

We have Netflix and own some DVDs, but never see broadcast tv or cable. I could do without it, if I didn’t have the hours of baby-care when I can’t do anything but sit!

The Stig is just molting. (Feathers EVERYwhere!) I have a “skirt” on the sides of the cage that catches a lot of the feathers, but I still have to vacuum up the “leftovers” that float through the bars.

Molting saps their energy, and they need special food. They sleep a lot, and preen seldom, until the feathers begin to grow back. I think there are enough feathers to stuff a down vest for him...

The Stig is just molting. It happens a couple of times a year, but it takes all their energy for a few weeks.
