Obama's slogan: looking to replace Hope and Change

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Winning The Future. Greater Together. We Don't Quit.

They may not be official but those are all phrases that could in one form or another be candidates to become President Barack Obama's re-election slogan.

Advisers say a fresh slogan to replace the winning "Change we can believe in" mantra of 2008, is unlikely to appear before Obama knows who his Republican opponent will be and starts big campaign travel swings, likely in the spring or summer.

His campaign posters now say simply, "Obama 2012."

Here's my guess. He'll likely use something like “Path to Prosperity.” Something that doesn't deny and challenge the last four years, as “Hope and change” does, but also implies a transition to something better. It would afford him the opportunity so spin those four years as sluggish, but necessary, all the while keeping the slogan concise, hopeful, and rhythmically appealing. It would also blend in quite well, philosophically speaking, with his logo.

His old posters and slogans and bumpers, if they could be gotten (or reprinted in masse) should SARCASTICALLY be slapped all over the United States. I mean EVERYWHERE. People will see that, feeling the economic pain they are currently in, and think to themselves “That’s RIGHT!! That SOB promised us all this so called CHANGE AND HOPE and it was all bullshit.” Use their own past words, actions, and empty promises, right out of their own mouths, against them. How could they tell the opposition to stop putting up these old 2008 posters and stickers.
