No, when the officer fired the gun.

They do the same dumb-ass reporting about car accidents. “When the car drove off the road.” NO, when the person lost control of the vehicle and hit something/someone.

Why would the officer point the gun at someone while teaching a gun safety course?

Why would his finger be inside the trigger if he didn’t intend to shoot?

Guy should not be able to teach these courses again. Seriously, he SHOT someone. Accidentally makes it even worse because it happened out of stupidity rather than deliberately.
