Based on the comments at ratemyteacher, the students don’t respect her and she has difficulty maintaining classroom disicpline.
An insecure teacher who believes that a certain class is untrustworthy (and who, knowing that some high school students like to use “bathroom breaks” as smoke/drug/alcohol/insert prohibited behavior “breaks”, is very likely to over-react and do something stupid.

I’d asked him to hold the bucket, then whipped it out... and pissed all over him.
When confronted, I’d just say he ordered me to piss in a bucket and I missed. Whoops!

I am a retired teacher. I do not want to turn our schools over to the libs. I do a lot of subbing. One thing I really like is the teachers giving passes for the six weeks that students can use at their discretion.
Some kids just want to get out of class.

Public schools = prisons.

If he’d said “piss in a bucket”, it would have been very unscholastic.

Are kids really so conditioned to obedience to government authority that they can’t think and act for themselves?
What the heck was stopping this girl from just walking out of the classroom to the bathroom anyway?

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself) The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

Two words. Home. School.
It can also be one word.
At home, there are bathrooms available, with real toilet paper, privacy, no one smoking pot in there or cutting herself.
And at least I know that their teacher is not molesting them. :)

Something similar happened to me way back when....I went to class so I would be on time and asked to use the restroom. The "teacher" told me to wait a few minutes while she took attendance. When she was done, I asked again; she told me to wait. I waited a few more minutes (by now, nearly 20 min into the class) and asked again; she ignored me.
I got up and walked out. She waddled her fat #ss after me and followed me INTO the boy's room.......think about that - I was 14; she was an adult (guilty by anyone's standards).
To top it off, she wrote me up for insubordination. My parents had a caniption. The school didn't seem to have a problem with this.
