I will not vote for Mitt Romney under any circumstance in November. The fact that he is the frontrunner is a disgrace and those that endorse him, those delegates that vote for him, and the establishment have my full contempt. He is the John Kerry of the Republican Party. His record is very liberal on virtually every issue. He is a shameless opportuntist..the etch sketch will reset for the general election. If you support the second amendment, marriage, pro-life cause, etc., how can you justify voting for Mitt Romney? He's treating republicans, or at least conservatives, like idiots while his surrogates plan to dump the weak, phony campaign of faux conservatism at the next step. He will lose worse than Ford, Dole, and McCain.

Given the choices..prefer Newt but Santorum is the clear challenger and solid on social issues. So I’m with Rick Santorum.
Of course, this may all be academic anyway... If Willard hijacks the nomination, I cannot see a path to which he can win. Many won’t vote for him because of his religion. Many more won’t because the media will remind folks about his religion’s exclusion of Black folks until relatively recently (as the 1970s is), hence he will be called a racist on those grounds. The rest of us will not vote for him because he is #1, a pathological liar; #2, he is a Socialist; #3, he is an uninspiring, out-of-touch phony.
4 years ago, the media and the establishment pushed the false meme that the GOP MUST nominate a “moderate” (liberal) in order to win. Well, the party put up one of those in John McCain (for whom 4 short years earlier gave serious consideration to switching parties to run with John Kerry). By that reckoning, McCain should’ve won in a landslide. Willard is an even more polarizing figure to the party grassroots. How is someone with all that baggage (which the media, again, will spend 24/7 until November reminding the public of) hope to somehow surpass McCain’s standing ? Simple. He can’t.
Somebody asked me what it would take to vote for Willard, and the answer is “nothing.” He’s not fit for any political office, and with his megalomania and pathological desire to obtain the highest office, he is more fit for a psychiatric office. I haven’t spent several years exposing him and his record and his personality traits to simply turn around and vote for him knowing what I know. He’s a Trojan Horse for the Democrats, and his victory could guarantee the demise of the Republican Party.
I would say I am hoping for a miracle.
Look at Ron Paul he had a rally with over 5000 people and that county when the vote came in said zero people voted for him.
Romney rallies have fewer people that all the other yet he continued to do well.
Imho someone with an agenda wanted to make sure our candidates fight and look stupid.
People look the other way and don't care if Ron Paul's votes are not accurate......

“What Romney did [was] he exercised illegal legislative authority,” Herb Titus said of the governor’s actions after the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court released its opinion in the Goodridge case in 2003. “He was bound by what? There was no order. There wasn’t even any order to the Department of Public Health to do anything.”

He is NOT a Conservative. Period. therefore if America does not want to vote for a conservative, then America is no longer conservative. I will write in my candidate’s name as a public statement to my beliefs and ideals.

A vote for Romney is a vote for Obama is a vote for Robamney is a vote for Obamney.... There is no meaningful difference unless one imagines that malignant materialism is the apex of human society. Even then, both of them are malignant materialists who differ only in whom they want to get the goodies taken from others. Both of them are also the worst serial liars to run against one another for POTUS in American history. Both of them also are demonstrating the power of BIG, BIG money to buy nominations and elections.
I agree with you 100% and we have to get on the ball and support Santorum..a brokered convention is our best hope. Romney will hand Obama another four years like Dole did for Clinton and we cannot afford it.

The mistake you’re making is in thinking that the vast bulk of the American electorate is going to make a decision based on logic and some sort of a real analysis the way you or I would. I believe there are a lot of people out there who are going to vote for the person they feel has the bigger Johnson, and the thing which is really hard to get your head around is that those people’s votes count for exactly as much as ours do. The one thing we know about Romney is that he is the only one of the remaining candidates ever to win an election outside of solid red territory. He does seem to believe in American exceptionalism and he would not keep the present damper on American energy policy. I know that isn’t much, but it’s better than all numbers coming in negative which is what we have now.
Right now I am not voting for President, either for Etch-a-sketch or O-Bomb-Us. If Etch-a-sketch starts to run towards the middle and really pisses me off I may actually do the unthinkable. Screw the NeoWhig Party.
Yes, Romney’s most atrocious action was with regard to marriage. He supports the homosexual agenda as rabidly as any leftist I’ve seen..he destroyed the institution of marriage, he supported companies with radical social agendas, he supports homosrxuals in the military, he appointed homosexual activists to the bench, he endorsed youth gay pride parades, and the list goes on and on.
We MUST vote Republican, regardless of who it is. We MUST show solidarity, hold the line shoulder to shoulder, urge everyone you know to vote not for Romney, but AGAINST OBAMA.
This will buy us enough time to take the Republican party back to it's constitutional roots.

I thought his main private sector experience was Bain Capital and Bain Capital shining star was Staples. If Staples' success was due to government intervention then I'll probably join you (though there still would be the atrocities thing) but if Staples' success was just due to doing it better for all of us who buy pens and paper then maybe you'll agree to hold your nose if that's what it comes down to.

I disagree. I have faith in the voting public, whereas you do not. Rather, it is a case of people not voting to vote for a candidate who doesn’t represent them and fails to offer any alternative. As for the two vague reasons you offer, let me point out Romney still believes in global warming and implemented his own cap and trade. Romney did become govenor in 2002, but Reagan won his state with 200,000 more votes in the 80s, Romney didn’t run for re-election because he was going to lose and the republicans were broken after 2006. And I could argue by that logic for Santorum winning a blue state.
