"If you lose 10% of your net assets with the adoption of one puppy ..."

... then you should not be adopting Clifford-the-big-red-dog puppies.

Good to hear about the sunshine, we like rain on our gardens, and sorry about snow and sleet. On another plane, after weeding, am going to make an attempt at uploading photos of Crowbar. I know, I know, pokey old correspondent here, but procrastination is a luxury of which I partake extramuchly in retirement. (Still practicing.)

A couple who live across the hall from my parents in “Freedom Pointe” have a “summer” home in Idaho. While I was in Florida last week, the husband was in Idaho, but the wife said she was staying in Florida until July, or until there was no snow, whichever was later.

Part-time Florida residents like it to be cooler in their summer residences, but not snowing!

I do not mind the snow or sleet at all. Weather is nice after living in Southern California. All we for weather was wind and fire it seemed.

The more it rains it will mean it is MUSHROOM time!!!!

Do you harvest morels? My great-uncle in Missouri collects those. What other varieties do you have?

I heard Andrew Wilkow on the radio coming back from Walmart. He was playing excerpts from George C. Scott as Patton. Maybe I'll watch that later, after I put Frank to bed.

Any of you feel like splitting a large order of chicken massaman curry, hot (three graphic peppers out of four)? I’m feeling a bit peckish.

No everyone just goes into the woods to find them. Morels being the number 1 find. We have puff balls, coral and morels around here. We have others BUT do not pick them. My rule is if the critters haven’t eaten them then no one should!

Puff balls are the most abundant around here. Yet this year may be to dry for mushroom season, so rain is welcomed!

Your net assets would be at 59.05% of whatever you started with. I think it is a harmonic progression but don’t quote me.

"I think it is a harmonic progression but don’t quote me."

It's hoarding.

Don't shrink from it.

I can't speak for the whole country, but here in Ontario poison ivy grows in every woodland area, unless eradicated.

Our ecosystem and geography is much like New York state.
