All. Thank you all so much for your prayers and wishes.

I’m still wound up from the day, but I feel I owe all of you an explanation. Some of you are aware that I have been battling angina for the last 10 days, others don’t know about my “heart” history.

(If I don’t make sense, take two aspirins and call me ‘Face in the morning. Then read it again over your favorite morning beverage.)

Fot the last 40 years, I have been plagued off and on with angina, but with nitroglcycerin, I have been able to keep in in check. The last 10 days, though I have had several stresses that came too close together for me to deal with. Only yesterday did I realize the nitro spray I was using was six months expired! (My bad)

So I actually walked down to the hospital (about a mile) and let them admit me. The surprising thing was how high my BP was. No less than three doctors told me I was about a step away from a heart attack. Wrong. I was actually closer to a massive stroke.

To make a long story short, I had a “nuclear stress test.” It wasn’t bad...about like walking to Walmart on a cool morning. The test indicated that my heart is strong (for an old broad!) and that I have “poor circulation,” which I have known since I was a kid. They think a childhood murmur may have affected the pumping action, but because I walk so often, my heart is in good shape.

So I have been given two BP meds, with continuing nitro as needed, and told to continue to listen to my body...”don’t over-do it.”

I am sure the Hand of God was blessing me today, as well as giving inspiration to those who had me in their care. I truly believe that your prayers were instrumental in me being home. And for some of you who are closer to me than others, I am NOT ready to do a “Jimmy Durante!”

Thank you all again, and I will see you in the morning!

(Meantime, I will thank God for your kindness!)

‘Face

XOXOXOXOXO to all!

Extremely blurry screen.
I thank the Creator every day for your goodness and for your FRiendship. I’m so glad that you’re still here!

We have baby pix (baby cantaloupes and watermelons). Will take photos after the fridge repair person does his thing. (He’s also bringing another board for the dishwasher but I don’t give a flying rip about that; the darned thing has a design defect that allows H2O to leak into the control panel. Mr. Sg wants it fixed. Oh, well.)

You still have to critique my punctuation. My English usage books are somewhere in our storage units. Your job here is *not* done!

xoxoxo

Glad to hear it...

I'd give you a hug, but I'd be afraid that exposure to such pure manliness might do something silly to your BP... ;-)

” nitro spray was six months expired!”

There are some weird superhero stories that start off that way.
