Unfortunately the US played the same games. The Chinese must allow Taiwan to declare independence, but the US crushed the Confederate States in the War of Southern Succession. The US backed the existence of Israel after the Romans kicked them out for over 1700+ years and over riding the Arabs who live there and now we are upset by the UN demand for giving land back to the Indians after the US took it 200+ years ago. Using Israel as a basis, the Indian claims to US land is at least 10x stronger then the Jewish claims to Arab lands for a homeland. Before all you freepers freak out about my post, the moral of the lesson is minimize overseas entanglements, because in order to maintain an empire, one has to become a hypocrite and end up making enemies that otherwise may not happen if we have kept ourselves home minding our own business.

You can not have all of it. My great grandmother was a Cherokee and her kids were offered land in Indian Territory/OK back in the late 1800’s/early 1900’s. We still can not figure out how she ended up in MS. Wonder if we can still claim it. ; )
