Prayers for my Brother who has been told he has ALS

My brother has just been diagnosed with ALS(Lou Gherig's disease). I would like to request Prayers for him.

Is he a veteran? If so, a presumption of service connection exists. The minimum rating is 100%...

Regardless, I wish him the best.

Yes, he is a veteran in the sense he served in the armed forces, never in a war.

In all things we endure, God’s good will and purpose wins at the end of the day, and it’s always for the best.

I’m now fighting a rare form of cancer, but I can see that I now can relate to others who are enduring something similar in a way that will aloww me to lead them to Christ’s salvation. Something I could never do before.

Have faith, and know that our prayers for you and your whole family will be there.

I read just the headline and started to pray. I lost my best friend to that hateful, ugly monster disease three years ago. Spend every possible moment you can with him. My heart goes out to you and your whole family. Hopefully he has applied for social security and medicare. A small blessing, but it gets immediate approval.

I am so sorry to hear of your brother having ALS. I know it is hard, as we all go through a loss of a loved one at some time.

I will pray that he doesn't have to suffer. And I will pray that the Good Lord will give you Peace and Comfort when the time comes. In the mean time live each day to the fullest.

If he had 90 days or more of continuous Active Duty, and is diagnosed with ALS, he qualifies. Period. It is not related to Agent Orange/Rainbow Herbicide exposure. Nor is it geographic specific nor age group dependent.
