Miracle Whip Versus Mayonnaise

Posted on 06/09/2012 9:04:20 PM PDT by FoxPro

I am torn over this.

Freerepublic.com has the smartest people in the world.

If you were to make the best BLT in the world tonight, what would you use?

I am quite serious about this.

I jokingly asked my husband just the other day, Maryanne or Ginger, he’s given different answers in the past, leaning toward Maryanne.

This time around he answered Mrs. Howell as she was getting up there in age and would leave him a hefty sum from her divorce settlement!

In the West, Best Foods mayonaisse, in the East Helman’s Mayonaisse.

Our store has both right next to each other. Pick your label.

When I was a child I ate Miracle Whip. When I became an adult I put away Miracle Whip and got mayonnaise.

Don't care for the Olive Oil Mayo, and I'm Italian.

Regular Best Foods / Hellmans is the only way to go.

over the top of the roll. They claim their guests prefer it that way.”

We have to keep ours in a very handy near-by cupboard since the cat prefers it on the roll so she can grab one end and drag it all over the house.

BTW Hellman’s is great on a hot dog.

Mary Anne. Definitely Mary Anne. She’s the reason I’ve had a life-long affinity for brunettes.

Mayo, the nectar of the Gods.

Sometimes I dip my French Fries in it.

YUMMY!

Hopefully Bloomberg and Moochelle aren't reading this.

Hey! You don’t have to put Yankee in your description! Hellman’s was invented in NY! One of the few things I can be proud of up here!

Don't forget about Brooklyn's finest, U-Bet Syrup.

No U-Bet, no Egg Cream.
